Wonder about what my STAND is or question it Biblical standpoint?

In case people wonder about what my STAND is or question it Biblical standpoint....here is part of my on going testimony!!

God called me to STAND for our marriage almost 8 years ago now...I had NO IDEA of what it was at the time...I just knew what my heart had felt for my Cov. Husband of my Youth...it was to NEVER be unfaithful to him even while we had dated 7 years before we married and said the "I DO". At age 11 our Daughter said Mom is this a TEST (from God) and I said Yes, Karleigh it is...but destruction continued and the enemy had a hay-day with tearing the boys to one side and the girls to the other...breaking hearts along the way (GOD HATES DIVORCE and NEVER INTENDED for us to go through all we had to go through...but He allowed it) He allowed it for HIS GLORY TO COME!!! Amen He knows the beginning to the end and we will help save COUNTLESS marriages like the Stienkamp's with telling them the TRUTH and turning them back to their Cov mates of their youths...People give up way to early with their marriages and if they would just wait out their storms....they would be amazed at what the Lord can and will do. Many leave for material differences, spiritual difference or affairs and things that the enemy leads them down the wrong pathway with ease (Prov 5). I am THANKFUL for my journey with the Lord and Him keeping me on task and track with him despite my personal raging storms and trials around me...WHY? Because its shaped me and defined me and brought me even closer to the Lord than I was before. Ive meet people that I otherwise would have NEVER met in which along our journey we have shared some tragic situations and rejoiced together as well as prayed for one another over the years fasting and praying and breaking strongholds and generational cusres along the way...I AM THANKFUL to EACH AND EVEY ONE OF YOU they know who they are) It made me appreciate the little things that I otherwise took for granted with my Husband or my Children....and I've been able to take care of my elderly parents-in which one parent (my Mom still living) about 7 yrs ago had OV. Cancer and the other just passed away April 17th 2010 (My Daddy). My Mom is still alive to tell her testimony of how the Lord healed her with NO CHEMO. God has restored me from nothing to where God is going to take us next with His Cov. blessings of Abraham as He has promised me to the next level). I found myself and who God had designed me to be and created me to be as His chosen vessel and woman of God (striving for the Proverbs 31 model). I am now attending a Bible College in the field of "Associates of Arts in Leadership & Ministry"...

A passion that I had when our kids were growing up! I've never allowed the situation with my husband and I to give our children an excuse not to do their VERY BEST for God. We have a handsome Son who is talented in SOOOOO many ways...as well as a beautiful talented Daughter who not only has a job that she loves in fashion retail but she is such an inspiration to many around her including me and is also college bound like Robert she shares some of the SAME EXACT passions and they are amazing blessings from the Lord. I KNOW that the BEST is yet to COME for me and my household will serve the Lord in an ever greater and mightier way! I am here for anyone who needs prayers pretty much 24/7 and we are all expecting an EXPECTED END along with a GRAND CELEBRATION and I will say right now anyone and everyone is welcome and invited to celebrate along with us when we re-new the new US in the near future. Gods working out ALL the details in the meantime and all I need to do is obey and trust as well as BELIEVE Him and take Him at HIS VERY WORD! He makes all things new and forgives us for the mistakes we make and casts them into the sea of forgetfulness. Yes we do have to drink from our own cistern...but there is also LOVE and FORGIVENESS at the CROSS!! Amen! Part of my testimony with the Latter days ....and the BEST to COME!!! God bless!!

Devotionals Psalm 139:14 1 Corin 12-4-6

Devotional

Psalm 139:14 1 Corin 12-4-6

I will praise you for making me and having a purpose for my life before I was even formed in my mother's womb. I give you praise and thank you because of who you are my High God.

You are breathtaking and amazing. I worship you in adoration with all that you create and have created thinking of me in every detail of my life as you made me in secret. How precious are your thoughts of me and your creations around me and for my pleasure.

It's amazing how you would count the grains of the sand as well as design every aspect of my being and soul. I am aware of your presence and yet I am still in the quiet secret place we have together. You are with me at every given hour. I will continue to give you praise and walk humbly in wonder and fear of you Lord as you use me as your earthly vessel for your glory in ministry and to my family until you come again for the whole world to marvel and stand in undeniable wonder.

I am thankful through God's word that I can confirm the gifts that He has given me. I am thankful for each and every gift of the spirit. Each spiritual gift that He has given and trusted in me profits all in whom I minister to on a daily basis. I'm thankful and grateful to our Lord and Savior for the wonderful variety of gifts that He has given to me including my studies at a Bible College and His wise council with the clear understanding of the journey that I am currently on in this season and phase in my life. I'm excited to share in unity with the body how we are all different yet all the same in moving forward in motion and purpose to reach our destiny. Our purpose is in healing and encouragement amongst other gifts that are used to assist each other and the body of Christ in a whole we gain the same knowledge and truth. He is the same God who works in us all and yet in all aspects at the same time. I am in awe of His purpose and design which is inspired by His divine works of the Holy Spirit.

Tuesday's message is from Bob who was a prodigal who returned home and was remarried to me for an additional 23 years before the Lord took Bob home to Heaven. Bob wrote 19 books from the prodigal's perspective for more than two decades after our divorce and remarriage.
Today I have selected a devotional that I believe will remind you to pray for your beloved husband or wife who is a prodigal as we approach Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday. - Charlyne

What Are All Holidays Like For My Prodigal?
In short, holidays are horrible out in the far country of life. Everything we see, hear, or do is a reminder of what life was like before our home was attacked by Satan.

We prodigals attempt to deal with holidays in one of three ways. The most painful is to attempt to replicate our family’s traditions in our own miserable surroundings. Secondly, we may attempt to totally ignore the holidays. For prodigals where the enemy has planted another person into the picture, the prodigals may attempt to join in on his/her family’s holiday traditions. If you are a stander, rejoice when that happens. Rejoice? Yes, praise God that is taking place. Let me explain.

Our youngest son, Tom, and his wife, Kathleen, married several years ago, near Easter. Their Easter plans that first year picked up on both Steinkamp family and Hektor family traditions, yet they were unique to Tom and Kathleen. By their second Easter, they had even more traditions.

We have a treadmill in our home. The manufacturer placed a warning on it telling of the danger of stepping onto the machine when it is already moving, because given enough speed, the treadmill can flip the user. Tom and Kathleen are starting their treadmill of traditions. By the time their children are old enough to remember, there will be another generation of Steinkamp family traditions in place.

After I became a prodigal, I attempted to step onto the treadmill of traditions of another woman and her children. That family’s treadmill had been running for years and was going full speed, and it almost flipped me.

Have you ever noticed an adult in church for the first time in their life? They are uncomfortable as they attempt to do what everyone else is doing, without knowing the reason. That is what I was doing and I can promise you that is what your prodigal is experiencing at the family gatherings of that other person as well.

When the other woman’s extended family would gather, I was treated politely, but nevertheless as an outsider. I did not know the incidents they were talking about. I barely knew the people there, much less the grandmothers they spoke about.

If you want to see a dance called "The Prodigal Wiggle," let Uncle what’s-his-name start loudly telling old anecdotes about the other person’s spouse! The prodigal knows that family’s treadmill of tradition is about to flip them when good old Uncle finishes his story with, "I sure miss him/her not being here," and the prodigal is certain every set of eyes in the room is on them, silently wondering, "Why are you here? This is our family." I never attended an "other person" function that I did not feel totally out of place.

I left every holiday gathering in the far country nursing my wounds, after being flipped by another family’s treadmill of tradition. The salt in my wounds was hearing my children innocently report on "holiday as usual" at home, as Charlyne worked alone to carry on our family traditions. That, my friend, is one of those times when the Holy Spirit is quietly saying, "Why don’t you stop this foolishness and go home to your family?"

We prodigals think we are made of tough stuff and dismiss that urging, thinking the next far country treadmill trip will be different. The process is repeated over and over until finally we are beat up enough to go home.

After 21 years of marriage ministry, I understand how standing spouses hurt on holidays. Above all else, I have heard my wife share the hurts I caused her during our time of divorce.

If you will ask the Holy Spirit to give you a glimpse of how your prodigal is also hurting, your holidays will become one of prayer, as my wife has been suggesting recently. Do not waste this day on the computer listening to how bad someone else has it, but spend your day off "laboring" in prayer for your prodigal spouse. Today, you can ask God what you should do, not a bunch of strangers.

Do you realize how many journeys toward home are started on the many different holidays? For most prodigals, being flipped by the treadmill of tradition softens the heart. Yes, we have Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year holidays, but did you know that more people go to church on Easter than on Christmas? Do you know how many prodigal men, women and children will be in an Easter service this year? I was there without Charlyne. Are you praying and fasting for your spouse and all prodigals to have the Holy Spirit touch and change their hearts during Holy week or on Resurrection Sunday?

You need to pray that every man of God will present the Gospel as God plants the urge for your husband or wife to be asked to go to church by the other person, neighbors or people at work or you may feel the Holy Spirit encouraging you to ask them to go to a church service near or on Easter. Always seek God’s will and way as you pray for His directions.

The question is not what so-and-so "says" to do or not to do, but is a matter of what God is clearly telling you to do. Above all else, keep your family’s treadmill of tradition operating at a speed where your prodigal is able to jump right back on, when God leads them.

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 1 John 4:1-3

"So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word."

Ears to Hear/Hearts to Obey

Good morning,

The Spirit of the Lord says;

Never doubt My faithfulness to you. Every thing that I have spoken to you, every promise made I Am doing exactly that! I Am not bound by the time of this world, I Am ageless and timeless. Just because you have not seen the expected desire, I Am watching over My Word to perform it. At times you think that I Am unaffected by your cries for relief, yet I Am always beside you making sure that you live to see and walk in the promise. Only know My Word, never assume that I will do what you want if it doesn't line up with Me. Quite often this is where My children are deluded and deceived and where their hope becomes deferred. When you are not acquainted with Me or My ways, you allow the enemy of your soul to make you believe a lie, for you expect Me to do what I cannot do, and that is lie. When I speak I cannot lie! I told Joshua and Caleb that they would come into their promise land as long as they continued to believe Me, it came to pass for them. Forty years passed and My Word was alive in them, it remained the same and they enjoyed the fruit of believing Me.

Many must let go of the false gods of faith, believing Me for the things in their heart that they could not find in My Word. For when you believe in things that I did not say, those desires then have become idols, forming their own belief systems in your heart. Go back and see if those things are so, study to show yourself approved unto Me. My Word is the Truth that you need to order your life by. All that is in your life and every test of your life I will turn for your good, no matter how it has comes, or how long it endures, I will keep My promise to you. It shall be even as I have declared to you. For it is My Word that you believe and continue in that I can prosper and watch over to perform, not preconceived ideas, or speculations. So meditate on My Word and you will be amazed when your desires become Mine, bringing us into agreement. So don't give up, don't lose hope. I know what time it is, and I have time on My side to perform all that I promise.

"So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word." (Heb. 10:23) "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." (Is. 55:9-11)

The Nets Begin To Break Rejoice Ministries- Charlene

The Nets Began To Break!

One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, with the people crowding around him and listening to the word of God, he saw at the water's edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat. Luke 5:1-3

Do you believe that God can go and catch your spouse, touching, cleaning and changing their life completely? I do. I believe that nothing is too hard for the Lord God to accomplish in healing marriages or in changing your family member's lives, or friends or co-workers lives. You and I must stand in the gap and seek our Lord praying for hearts to be transformed every day!

“For nothing is impossible with God.” Luke 1:7

Do you know that God sent His only Son down to earth to save the world? Every day we hear from standers, family members or friends telling us about the horrible circumstances that are going on with their marriage problems. We have the solution! Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your and your spouse's sins. If your family and friends are concerned about you, ask them to fast and pray one meal a week for your spouse's salvation. My own personal heart's desire would be for one or two special men or women of God to fast and pray for your circumstances and your spouse's salvation at least three times a week or possibly fast one meal a day for your marriage. Imagine what could be accomplished in the Heavenlies before Resurrection Sunday!

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen; to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?...Then you will call and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.” Isaiah 58:6, 9

Jesus loved teaching the people in so many different settings and in so many towns as He proclaimed the Gospel. Are you listening to His instructions? Are you reading God’s Word daily? Do you hunger to hear what the Lord may say to you personally through a special scripture? That is how the Lord spoke to me all through my stand and still does it now. Just recently I wrote a question on my Daily Bible Reading Calendar and within a few days, the Holy Spirit had given me a special scripture and then I did a cross-reference to have the Holy Spirit magnify His answer to me even more. The next day I did my normal readings for that day and the Lord gave me another scripture which was a strong confirmation of the answer to my question, again. The Lord is my Husband, I want His will and way in my life. I must spend time with Him as if I were sitting at a lake listening to him teach to the multitudes. Are you willing to sacrifice some time with the Lord every day? God DOES SPEAK to His children! Are you listening?

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. Luke 5:4-7 (emphasis mine)

Did you notice Simon Peter's obedience when the Lord spoke instructions to him? Are you willing to obey the Lord as Simon Peter did? Peter knew he had been fishing all night and there had been no fish. Peter also knew that you catch fish at night, but He listened and obeyed the Master. I knew that my Lord had spoken to my heart and directed my footsteps to pray and stand for my marriage forever. I was to pray for my husband to be set free from Satan’s tricks, schemes and prison. I was to wait for my marriage to be healed and restored by my mighty awesome God in His perfect timing.

There is a time in your life when you must surrender your will and way to God's will and way forever. Stop debating with the Lord all your reasonings and excuses, but choose to sit at the Lord's feet, listening to His teachings and to His instructions for your life and marriage.

When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon's partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men.” So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him. Luke 5:8-11

What did Simon Peter see when he obeyed Jesus' instructions? He saw the power of Jesus Christ and his own sinfulness. May you and I repent daily of our own sins. Then Peter, Andrew, James and John pulled their boats up on shore leaving the fish for Zebedee and his servants to clean. These men chose at that very moment to surrender their lives to following Jesus Christ and become Fishers of Men. Have you surrendered your life and marriage to the Lord?

Now may you know that your Lord Jesus Christ wants your spouse to come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their life. The Lord wants to save multitudes around the world every day. Has your spouse known Jesus Christ, but has fallen into a trap of sin? Jesus Christ cares about them. God has written their name in the palm of His hand.

So do not give up, but keep praying for your spouse to repent just as David did after he committed adultery and murder. The Lord will not stop looking for His lost sheep. Will you pray with me that lost sinners will ask Jesus Christ to change their lives and hearts today? Let's pray for the all the nets to break every day this week!

Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:31-32

Believe in the Lord's power,

You Are Writing A Story

You Are Writing A Story

2 CORINTHIANS 3:2B NLT
2 Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can
read it and recognize our good work among you.

Every day by your actions you are "writing" your story.

One purpose of life on earth is to give us each an opportunity
to "write" our own story, which we will be able to share and
enjoy throughout eternity. We are here to learn, and what we
experience and learn will be shared with many.

Humans love stories. Facts and figures can sometimes be boring,
but when anyone tells what happened to them, it usually draws
our attention.

Everyone knows and loves the story of David and Goliath.

We all love a good story. But what does every good story
require? It must involve some problem or difficulty that is
ultimately overcome so there is a happy ending. These are the
stories we love to hear.

The good news is that, because of God's love, your story will
at least have a happy ending. But you can make your story more
interesting by the choices you make now.

As you know, there can be many problems and difficulties in a
story. But how the story finishes is what's most important.

You may be facing some terrible circumstances right now. But
your story is not over. The trouble you are facing now is what
will make your story interesting as it is told in the future.
You can overcome! God is there to help you! You can face
difficulties with God's help and overcome (just like David did
with Goliath.)

So don't judge your story too quickly. Life is not over. Your
story is still being written. Some of the best and most
exciting parts are still to come.

It's too soon for a final judgment.

SAY THIS: My story is going to bring God glory with a happy
ending.

Soft Sraws March 20 2012

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Be on guard and remain fully and solidly positioned in My presence, says the Lord. For, the enemy has released an attack to get you off track and to scatter you to the wind. His strategy is to cause you to get emotionally invested in things you have no control over. Yours is not to try to control but to trust Me in those things. Refuse to allow the devil and his plans to get your off balance. Stand strong and resolute in My purposes. I am with you and for you.

Nahum 2:1 He who scatters has come up before your face. Man the fort! Watch the road! Strengthen your flanks! Fortify your power mightily.

Spouses’ Hearts Need To Repent!

Sunday, March 18, 2012

Spouses’ Hearts Need To Repent!

From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

Matthew 4:17

Resurrection Sunday will be here in three weeks! Will you start praying and planning that you and Christians around the world will start inviting many family members and friends to your church services? Let us be the lighthouses in this dark world as our Lord Jesus Christ is alive! Let us start planning on inviting others to church services on Palm Sunday, during Holy Week and then Easter Sunday. We need to remember that Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price of shedding His Blood on the Cross for all sinners.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.” John 3:16-18

Will you start praying for your beloved spouse, lost loved ones, friends and co-workers whom you know personally who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ? Will you make a list of people you want to pray for daily and put it in your Bible to remind you to pray for them the next three weeks? Many peoples' hearts and lives are touched and transformed near or on Resurrection Sunday. Let us pray for a mighty harvest of souls to be changed forever!

We have been blessed for many years hearing from men, women and young adults who have shared with us how they came to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives. When you hear testimony after testimony of men and women who have seen the hand of God touching and delivering people from lives of sexual immorality, pornography, alcohol, drugs, and gambling, you will believe and know the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing is too hard for God. Let me share a testimony that we received on Friday:

“Give all honor to God. My spouse returned home last week. I have been asking God to return him home. I have been praying a Hedge of Protection and Thorns around him. I started to fast and pray in January but as my church went into our Corporate (Daniel) Fast in February, the Lord said to pray specifically for what you want from Me. I asked God to save my husband’s and the OW’s soul. I prayed that God would make me the woman/wife He desired me to be. It looked impossible in the natural, but it was possible in the Spiritual. In February my husband texted me saying he needed to be saved. My spouse said the OW suggested he go home. We are praying together every day as a family. We are seeking Godly counsel, attending a Bible study together and in church. I thank God for bringing my husband home and I will continue to serve and love the Lord regardless of my circumstances.” (Georgia)

Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety- nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.' I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” Luke 15:3-7

God does speak to sinners which include your husband/wife or loved ones. Let me remind you of a man who went to work not expecting anything to be different, but that night God changed his life completely.

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose. The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, "Don't harm yourself! We are all here!"

The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized. The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole family. Acts 16:25-34

God moves around the clock touching and speaking to His children who have wandered off onto a detour road of sin and disobedience. God is also speaking to sinners who do not believe in God or others who think that they do not need God. But God has a plan and purpose for their lives.

This Sunday we need to pray for prodigals to repent and turn from their sinful lifestyle and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for their salvation. Pray the Holy Spirit will speak loudly in their ears to cause spouses, sons, daughters, all your loved ones, neighbors and friends to repent and turn from their wrongful ways. May they call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ today.

Let us remember to pray for all the men of God around the world who have the privilege to proclaim the Gospel as the Holy Spirit reveals His presence, touching and changing hardened hearts. Imagine how many men and women go to talk to their pastors regarding their marriage problems. Let us pray that these chosen pastors or counselors will only speak God's truths and the Word of God about marriage and divorce.

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Are you depressed, weary, tired of hurting, feeling such pain of rejection and hopelessness this Lord's Day? Have you surrendered your heart to the Lord? Do you know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life? I pray that you will humble yourself today, crying out to the Lord for His healing touch of love, compassion, mercy and grace to heal your wounded bleeding heart. He will help you right now in your time of need. God knows your deepest needs and your heart’s desires, so trust Him in moving some mountains in your life, suddenly.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

This Sunday let us praise and thank our Lord Jesus Christ that He is working in your life, your spouse's life, and in prodigal spouses’ and children's lives around the world. Let’s pray that many will repent and be saved today!

Be encouraged,

Charlyne Steinkamp

Psalm 40;1-2 The Lord Sees & Hears You Crying!

Friday, March 16, 2012

The Lord Sees & Hears You Crying!

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. Psalm 40:1-2

Are you tired of waiting for your marriage to be restored? Are you tired of waiting for a promotion or a raise at work or your spouse to say something positive to show that the Lord is working on the other side of your mountain? Are you crying out to the Lord for answers? He is seeing and hearing you cry!

Today, during your devotion time, please read Psalm 40. My prayer for you today is that the very first verse of Psalm 40 will give you hope as it did to me many years ago when I was crying out for my Lord's divine help regarding our marriage problems. The Lord will lift you out of the sinking sand of circumstances that keep coming your way. He will set your feet on a rock and you will be able to stand and not sink due to all your problems. Allow Him to be your strength and your Deliverer.

I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3

The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer. Psalm 6:9

David wrote this Psalm after his restoration to the throne after the usurpation of Absalom. I pray that you will be blessed and encouraged today as God sees all, knows all and is with you all the time in your darkest hours and in your happiest times.

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:7

The first step in seeking the Lord for His help, is that you must wait patiently for His answer, His instructions and His intervention. How often when a crisis happens do you pick up the telephone to call your prayer partner or your best friend or your mom or dad to talk out the problem? What should you have done first? Cry out to the Lord telling Him your problem and then wait on Him to intervene with His divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding. His answers or guidance is going to be the best.

When you pray, you may have a thought that will cross your mind, which will be the perfect solution to the problem. The Lord wants you to come to Him for your help first, not to everyone else. He will hear your cry. He will answer you and bring you out of the very difficult problems that you are facing. He will pick you up and put your feet upon the solid rock of Jesus Christ over and over again.

The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. Psalm 145:18-20

If you are a new Christian and you have never had any serious trials or tribulations until now with your marriage, you need to keep your eyes on the Lord. He will direct your steps. You may remember Bible stories, like David and Goliath, Abraham and Isaac, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego thrown into a blazing furnace seven times hotter than normal or Daniel thrown into the Lion's den. Do you remember how the Lord rescued and brought victory to each life and death situation? How many testimonies or stories have you heard from other Christians when the Lord answered prayers in the eleventh hour?

The Lord wants you to learn to walk in faith, hope and strength trusting in His mighty power when you are going through a difficult time with your marriage problems or with your children. Then when the Lord answers, you can praise Him knowing He is all you need.

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. Psalm 40:3-4

Have you lost your hope or joy? Today ask the Lord to put His hope and joy back into your heart. Do not let the enemy steal any more! God is not asking you to live a defeated life every day. The Word gives us promises of victory. You need to spend quiet, quality time with the Lord and ask Him to heal your broken, wounded heart. He will do it! Then you can stand for God's best in resurrecting your hurting or dead marriage with faith, hope, trust, perseverance and joy in the Lord. Will you choose to pick up your cross and do the Lord's will? When you do, you will have a peace that only comes from the Lord.

I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart." I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness In the great assembly; Indeed, I do not restrain my lips, O Lord, You Yourself know. I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your loving-kindness and Your truth from the great assembly. Psalm 40:8-10 ((NKJV)

Your Lord God is calling you to righteousness, purity, a higher standard than the world has right now. Read Philippians 2:1-8 and Matthew 26:39. God created marriage. In Ephesians 5, we read about the husband loving the wife as Christ loves the church. We are not to give up on our spouses, but fight for their hearts to be softened and transformed! The enemy is coming against your marriage and all marriages because God ordained them.

Will you stand up for God's best and never compromise? Believe in God's power! Believe in the power of prayer! God can move mountains and part the Red Sea. He can touch and change your spouse's heart. Cry out to the Lord and wait on the Lord's timing in restoring your marriage.

Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me; O Lord,, make haste to help me!...Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let such as love Your salvation say continually, "The Lord be magnified!" But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God. Psalm 40:13, 16-17 (NKJV)

Keep praying and believing,

Words

WORDS

words are special,
powerful indeed,
they can sooth a broken heart,
when positive words we feed.
Words spoken wisely,
help heal broken souls;
words guide our foot steps,
as we walk toward our goals.
Words spoken carelessly.
wound innocent hearts;
once spoken,
cannot be reteieved;
We may say we are sorry,
but forgiveness is hard to receive.
Think before we speak,
this our motto be,
use words to lift others up,
giving them dignity.

Rejoice Posting -Hurting As Much As I Do?

Tuesday, March 13, 2012

Tuesday's message is from Bob who was a prodigal who returned home and was remarried to me for an additional 23 years before the Lord took him home to Heaven. Bob wrote 19 books from the prodigal's perspective for more than two decades after our divorce and remarriage. - Charlyne

"Does My Prodigal Hurt As Much As I Do?"

This morning I woke up with a backache. Someone awoke with a toothache. We both are hurting right now, but in different ways. That is much the way it is with the pain experienced by standers and prodigals.

Your greatest emotional pain today might be from rejection. Your prodigal’s pain might be caused by guilt or shame. You both may share the common pain of fear of the future.

God designed the family to help care for one another. That other person does not have, nor will they ever have, the unconditional love for your spouse that fills you today. The one you love recognizes the person they are with may bail out when the going gets rough.

The vows of that other person, even though unspoken, may be: "Without God as my witness, I take you as my sinful companion, to temporarily have and to hold from this day, until someone better comes along, for better but not for worse, for richer but not for poorer, not in sickness, only in health, to use and to manipulate, until we are parted by someone else. This is the enemy’s solemn vow."

How much peace, love, and joy can your prodigal be experiencing in a relationship with that kind of non-commitment? Your prodigal has the same fear of the future as you. No amount of money can buy the lasting commitment and assurance of the future that can be found in a marriage based on Jesus Christ.

This can be illustrated by a true story of a family I know. The man had a prestigious job with an American company who had assigned him to Italy. While there, he met someone else and left his wife.

The wife’s doorbell rang one day and the other woman introduced herself. "Your husband and his things are out in the car,” the woman reported. “He is seriously sick and needs to go to the hospital. I didn’t sign on for that. Come and get him."

Let’s follow an imaginary couple, Jack and Jill, through a typical day. Jill awakens and is immediately reminded by an empty bed of what has happened. Even before getting up, she has prayed to her Lord, asking Him to be with her that day, and to help her stand for Jack for one more day. Immediately, she feels the unexplainable presence of the Lord surround her. A few minutes later, during her devotions, Jill receives a Word from God. The Christian song she hears confirms His promise to her for that day.

Across town, Jack also awakens once again, to the dull thud that it is not Jill lying next to him. He starts his day under his own power alone, bearing the guilt of what he has done. He and the other person welcome the day with a disagreement.

At work, Jill loses an important paper. She often misplaces things these days. She silently prays, asking the Lord to help her. Five minutes later, the paper is in her boss’ hand and she is thanking God for being with her all day long.

Across town, Jack loses an important paper. He misplaces things often these days. He searches and searches, but cannot find it. Five minutes later, his boss is threatening his job.

"Jack, you can’t bring your personal problems to work or it will cost your job." Jack goes back to work, more distracted than ever, worried about the divorce and supporting the other woman without a job.

That evening, Jill’s house is empty and quiet. She spends her evening with praise music in the background, praying for Jack and reading her Bible. She goes to sleep with a prayer on her heart.

Across town, Jack’s house is empty and quiet. The other woman has demanded a night out "with the girls." Jack spends his evening worrying if she has found a replacement for him. He and the other woman end the day with a heated disagreement. Jack goes to sleep thinking about how good it was at home, but feeling he can never go back.

Although hurting in different ways, who has the most pain, Jack or Jill? Even though most prodigals display a higher tolerance to pain, the hurt is still present for both Jack and Jill. There will come a day, however, when Jack’s spiritual pain becomes unbearable and another prodigal will start the journey home.

Dear stander, how is your pain threshold today? Do you hurt like Jill but turn to the Great Physician for the pain medication that He can provide? I must warn you that the spiritual pill that He will dispense, every time you ask, is habit forming. Over time, you will find yourself turning to Him more and more. The only side effects are a joyous life and life eternal. There is also a high rate of marriage restoration for those who seek this treatment for their pain.

Are you a Jill, but experiencing the pain of a Jack, attempting to do everything under your own power without calling on God every hour of every day? If so, I have good news. The Great Physician has time to treat you today. Go into His Presence and walk out feeling much better. Remember, the One who wants to treat your pain right now is the Holy Spirit who also treats sick marriages.

"My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, O king.”…“He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth.” Daniel 6:22, 27

The Riches of God’s Amazing Grace!

The Riches of God’s Amazing Grace!

To the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. Ephesians 1:6-8

Do you personally know the amazing grace of God? What is God's amazing grace? We could sum up the meaning of grace in one sentence: Grace is God's unmerited favor; mercy; and compassion, (Nelson's Three-In-One Bible Reference). God does not give us what we deserve, but rather, what we do not deserve, that is, life eternal, without punishment on Judgment Day. Our Lord gives us His Holy Spirit to be our Guide, Counselor, Deliverer and Friend as we walk through our life in this sinful world. He is with you all the time and wants to direct your steps every day of your life.

I pray that you will read and then re-read these scriptures I have included in this devotional. They are very powerful. I pray that you would be hungry enough to look up in your Bible concordance to read all the scriptures on “grace.” Can you imagine the riches of God’s grace that He is lavishing on us with all wisdom and understanding?

God’s amazing grace is so powerful that it brings salvation to ALL men. You and your beloved spouse can say “No” to ungodliness and worldly desires and live decent and honest lives in this world.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age. Titus 2:11-12

"We believe, that the work of regeneration, conversion, sanctification and faith, is not an act of man's free will and power, but of the mighty, efficacious and irresistible grace of God.” - Charles H. Spurgeon

PTL! Will you pray for a mighty harvest this Lord's Day at all our churches around the world? Let us pray in agreement for all prodigal spouses, teenagers and lost loved ones that they will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit calling their name today to "Come Home!" to their Lord and back to their spouse and family because of God's amazing grace. May thousands of sinners come to know God's amazing grace for their personal salvation this Lord’s Day.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

When I think of the word grace, I think of the song"Amazing Grace," written by John Newton. He was a slave trader in the 1700's, but by God's grace, God got Newton's attention. One day the grace of God put fear into the heart of this wicked slave trader through a fierce storm. Being alarmed and fearful of a shipwreck, Newton began to read a book,"The Imitation of Christ," by Thomas Kempis. God used this book to lead Newton to Jesus Christ. A dramatic change took place in Newton's life. He felt a call and continued on to become an ordained minister in England. Newton introduced simple heartfelt hymns rather than the usual psalms in his services. When enough hymns could not be found, Newton began to write his own hymns. John Newton never ceased to marvel at the grace of God that transformed his life so completely.

Is that not what you want for your spouse and loved ones? The grace of God can put a fear into your beloved spouse who may pick up a book or watch someone on the television or listen on the radio. This transformation that Newton had was like Saul had on the Damascus Road with His Lord before becoming the Paul whose writings we all love to read. I pray that John Newton's testimony will give you hope and encouragement for you and your beloved spouse.

God loves all sinners. He wants them each to turn from their own selfish, self-centered, prideful, sinful nature and ungodly lifestyles. We need to pray for all spouses that they will stop being selfish and self-centered husbands or wives, but they will put God, their spouse and children before themselves. May each of us never lose sight of this truth as we pray for all prodigals, all spouses and all loved ones. Let us never forget God's amazing grace every day of our lives.

"Amazing Grace" -
"Amazing grace! How sweet the sound - That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost but now am found, Was blind but now I see.

"'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed!

"The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be As long as life endures.

"Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come; "Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.

"When we've been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We've no less days to sing God's praise, Than when we'd first begun."

Written by John Newton, John P. Rees, stanza 5. Public Domain

Regardless of what you are facing today or in the future regarding your marriage problems, your financial needs, problems with your children or if you are having health problems, God is saying to you:

…"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ will take away every sin for both you, your spouse and other loved ones who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus as Savior and Lord. God's amazing grace is what will restore your marriage!

…But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:20b-21

What Wants To Emerge

What Wants To Emerge

Dear Friend,

The apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 4 of the Ascension-Gift ministries inaugurated by Christ when He returned to His Father’s Throne having finished the work He came to accomplish.

One of the greatest and most significant dynamics of these “gift-ministries” is that they did not exist at all prior to the Finished Work. Certainly there is a foreshadowing of them as you read through the pages of the Scriptures from Genesis to Malachi in the Old Testament. However, the shadows only give us outlines, and not the full substance of their significance. It is the difference between a shadow cast by the moon that reveals the outline of a tree, as opposed to the tree standing in the full light of the noonday sun revealing every detail of its nature and its dynamics and rich texture.

When all you can see is the shadow of a tree under the moonlight casting its image on a translucent surface, you can only but guess at what the substance of the outline actually contains. For that reason, the writer to the Book of Hebrews instructs us to understand that while Old Covenant Israel was governed in their seasons and times by the New Moon, at best what they saw was the shadow of Christ and all that it implied.

In Christ, the Son, God has spoken fully and finally because He, the Son, is the TRUE LIGHT, Who, when coming into the world, enlightens every man. The full light of Christ governs the New Covenant and we have moved from SHADOW to SUBSTANCE!

In His light, we see light!

As a result, when it comes to anything that has to do with the substance, which Paul tells us in Colossians and in other places, belongs to Christ; that applies as well to the Ascension-Gift ministries of Ephesians 4, INCLUDING THE PROPHETS!

This is vitally important because all too often there is an undue emphasis on Old Testament prophetic tradition to describe a New Testament prophet. This puts a major constraint on the ability to grasp with firmer hand the grace that comes to the New Testament Ascension-Gift ministry of the prophet, as well as the others.

We have to come to a place of accepting the fact that the Cross is the pivotal point in all of history and EVERYTHING that leads up to the CROSS changes once it passes through the Cross, including the ministry, the word, and the voice of the prophet.

We can glean many things from the types and shadows of the Old Testament regarding those God appointed to lead the people out of bondage into freedom, out of the brickyard into the Promised Land, out of Exile and back to their homeland, and all that goes with those things. However, there has to be a radical acknowledgement of the words of Christ Himself when He says, “the law and the prophets was until John (the Baptist).”

Something shifts once John the Baptist decreases and Christ increases, which by the way is one of those verses that is all too often misinterpreted and mishandled in the name of “spirituality.” “He must increase and I must decrease” is not the template for New Testament spirituality. In fact, it is the last and greatest of all the prophets of the Old Order letting us know a New Day has begun, and in Christ it is not marked by being merely servants who are in a “decreased” position, it is marked by a revelation of sonship, which puts all of those who are in Christ in a position of increase by the grace of Christ’s Finished Work!

How come all of this is so important?

We live in a day when much attention and much reproach has come upon “prophetic” ministry due to excesses, abuses, lack of accountability, and a lack of mature understanding from Scripture on the work of the New Testament prophet in light of the Finished Work and the coming of the Kingdom in Christ and the New Day of the Holy Spirit, which began on the Day of Pentecost and continues even until now.

Often the prophets of old called the people of Israel “back” to something they had wandered from. In the New Covenant, the prophets of the Ascended Christ call people “forward” to what wants to emerge in relation to the Finished Work and the Eternal Purpose of the Father, which is all about “bringing many sons to glory!”

What if the Father really did spend His anger and wrath on Christ on the Cross, and is now operating on a basis of a “covenant of peace that shall not be shaken,” as promised in the last half of the prophet Isaiah? What if it is the “kindness of God that leads to repentance” rather than the wrath, anger, and judgment of God?

What if God is begging the lost through us to “come home” and experience the fullness of redemption because Christ has reconciled us to the Father, and is not counting our transgressions against us? What if the Word of God is really true? I know it sounds like I am being satirical, however, I am endeavoring to make a point: all too often we have presented prophetic ministry from an Old Testament notion (and I say notion because a careful examination of the prophets doesn’t reveal a group of angry, judgmental, people-cursing group of individuals who delight in seeing people suffer) that the prophet is a prophet of judgment.

I have grown weary of the voices that always look for another reason why God is mad at either His people or at sinners, and is just waiting to send fire from heaven to destroy them. Is there sin? Oh yes, and indeed it leads to death, without question. It is alienation and separation from God. Yet even alienation and separation from God is only a portion of what sin and the principle of sin created. It is alienation from God, self, and others. When you look at it in its totality, it leaves the stark awareness of the abject pain and poverty of the human condition, and the desperate need for redemption, grace, and mercy.

Jesus Himself described the “day” He inaugurated when He found in the scroll of Isaiah the words, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, for He has anointed me to bring good news to the poor…” Jesus goes on to describe a ministry of deliverance, healing, reconciliation, and well-being, and He closes the BOOK just prior to announcing “the day of vengeance” of the Lord.

All too often, when I hear some people speak prophetically, claiming they have the heart of God when they speak, they determine to convince their hearers that their “judgments” are “righteous judgments,” for the sake of justice and righteousness. Yet the more they talk, the more evident it seems that their goal is vengeance and not justice, and they unconsciously step over a boundary and take God’s place, Who alone says, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.”

No, the New Testament prophet has to be just that: a prophet of the New Covenant, the better covenant, enacted on better promises, and based on the Blood that speaks BETTER than the blood of Abel. The standard for New Testament prophetic ministry is the Finished Work, and the immediacy of grace and glory available to every child of God because God has shone His light in our hearts in the face of Christ, and we all with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are being changed into His image from glory to glory!

If you really, truly want to be an effective prophetic voice for the Risen Christ, you just may have to “repent” of wanting to call fire down from heaven on all those who oppose you or perhaps oppose God. James and John were called “the sons of thunder” by Jesus for a reason: they were hot-headed and had tempers. In fact, when they wanted to call fire down on the Samaritans, they claimed Biblical precedence because in the very place where the Samaritans rejected Christ as He made His way to Calvary in the last three months of His earthly life, James and John wanted to repeat what Elijah did to his enemies in that very region and on that very site generations before, which was to call fire down from heaven and destroy the enemies of God.

Listen, James and John had Biblical precedence, Elijah had dealt with this same ethnic group and called fire down from heaven when they rejected the word and the way of Jehovah God. However, when we move from the shadow to the substance, which is all in Christ the Son, and God no longer speaks that way, rather He speaks in and through His Son, the Son says to the “sons of thunder,” “You know not what spirit you are of!” In other words, Jesus is now saying, “in light of where things have advanced in the coming of My Father’s Kingdom through Me, you are now operating under a spirit that is not the Holy Spirit, nor is it a spirit that is congruent with what I came for and what I am about!”

On March 22nd and 23rd, I am inviting a number of individuals from every tribe, race, kindred, and tongue, and generation and age group, who are truly desirous of seeing a manifestation and recovery of the power of New Testament prophetic ministry, to join me for two solid days of dialogue, teaching, and the exploration of the Scriptures regarding prophetic ministry in the 21st century.

The Spirit wants to “disclose what is to come.” That Beloved is FAR MORE than the end of the world and the judgment of the nations. As long as we are in the Day of the Spirit, and there are multiplied billions of souls in need of the Savior, there is much that can happen by way of true New Testament prophetic ministry that can serve to bring about the Eternal Purpose of the Father.

Are sinners in need of salvation in Christ? We know that answer, and it is YES.

Are there conditions to receiving the love of Christ? We know that answer as well, and it too is YES.

Is repentance no longer necessary? If you love God and believe the Scripture you know that answer as well, and it is NO.

The question we may need to rethink, however, is whether or not we “embody” what Christ came and did as the Incarnate Son. When the Word became flesh, He was moved with compassion and healed the sick, and delivered ALL who were oppressed of the devil. His miracles, signs, and wonders, which accompanied a message of radical forgiveness and an invitation to be a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven caused the masses to recognize Him as a “prophet.”

The only people Jesus got angry at were the religious leaders that misrepresented the heart of His Father. In fact, He went so far as to say that they were of their father, the devil himself. As you know that didn’t go over well, and from that point on they sought to kill Him (which is what the religious spirit always wants to do to the prophetic).

Isn’t it interesting that sinners were attracted to Him, while the Pharisees and Sadducees were appalled by Him? Isn’t is interesting that sinners were attracted to the “beauty of holiness” in Him and not repelled by holiness at all. It was the religious spirit fueled by self-righteousness that hated Him and the beauty of holiness He embodied, without a cause.

It is time to return to the Christ of Calvary, the Christ of the Finished Work, the Son of the Living God who came to reveal the perfect love of the Father.

It is time to reacquaint ourselves with what indeed is foreshadowed in the Old Covenant and revealed in light in the New Covenant as it relates to prophetic ministry.

There is a desperate need for a recovery of:

Prophetic Imagination
Prophetic Intuition
Prophetic Integration
Prophetic Initiative

I am going to systematically and carefully lay down an architectural framework for prophetic ministry during this two-day period at The Prophetic Initiative.

There will be many seasons of direct experience with the Spirit of the Lord in worship, intercession, and the expression of His heart in prophetic release.

There will be times of impartation and laying on of hands. There will be demonstrations of the Spirit and power so that your faith will rest on the power of God and not the wisdom of man.

There will be instruction regarding the keys of the Kingdom and the manifestation and operation of the charismata in full expression.

There will be opportunity for personal ministry.

There will be the teaching regarding the lost art of spiritual dialogue and its essential importance in this current hour if we are to “hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”

We will talk about the significance and importance of direct experience with Christ, and the all-too-often ignored and needful aspects of how direct experience is the very root of transformation and the renewal of the mind.

I can assure you of this: I have not lifted my voice to teach on the prophetic or even have a “school of the prophets” in years because I felt impressed by the Lord to lay it down until another season.

This is that season, and I am prepared to share my heart, my life, and the insights I have gleaned from the Word of God, the processes of God I have been through, and the leading of the Holy Spirit in my life.

If you want to fall in love with Jesus all over again, and experience the experience of genuine generative power by the indwelling Christ, and the refreshing, renewing, and restorative Presence of the Holy Spirit, and the love of the Father, than join me in Orlando, on March 22nd-23rd for The Prophetic Initiative: What Wants To Emerge.

I will share key insights that are tied to where the Lord is taking His church in the next 5 to 10 years so that you can recognize His goings forth, which are from of old!

If you cannot attend in person and want to participate by way of the internet, I need you to write a letter letting me know the reason you believe I need to allow you to participate at a distance.

What wants to emerge in your life in the next decade?

Do you know what it is that is demanding your full attention from the heart of the Father?

Do you have a sense, yet need clarity of thought in order to bring it to speech?

Are you tired of the rehashing of the traditions of men and are you looking for an authentic and genuine expression of the Spirit of the Lord in this hour?

I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you for The Prophetic Initiative.

Much love in Christ,
Mark J. Chironna, MA, PhD

Healing Belongs To You

Healing Belongs To You

ISAIAH 53:4-5 NKJ
4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet
we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for
our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

This passage in Isaiah foretells the great substitutionary
sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, paying the price to
redeem all mankind from the curse resulting from Adam’s
rebellion. As you can clearly see, it includes healing along
with payment for our sins.

In Matthew 8 we have the inspired commentary of the Holy Spirit
Himself, affirming that the passage in Isaiah 53:4-5 includes
physical healing.

MATTHEW 8:16-17 NKJ
16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were
demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and
healed all who were sick,
17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the
prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities And bore our
sicknesses."

Then Peter, writing to believers in New Covenant times, says we
were (already) healed. That does not mean we are necessarily
possessing healing, but that healing belongs to us.

1 PETER 2:24 NKJ
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that
we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness -- by
whose stripes you were healed.

Just as much as your hands or your feet belong to you, healing
belongs to you. You need not ask permission from God to use
your hands or feet. They belong to you. They were given to you
as a gift. You did not earn them in any way.

It is the same with healing. You could not earn it. It was a
gift from God. Jesus paid for it with His own suffering. By the
wounds He suffered, healing was provided for you.

The normal human response to this great news is usually
something like "If healing belongs to me, then why am I sick?"

Ownership and possession are not the same thing. You can own
something you don't possess.

I am not saying you possess healing, but that it belongs to you
because Jesus paid for it and gave it to you.

So the main reason you may not have received healing is simply
because you did not know it belongs to you.

If you had money in a bank account in your name, but did not
know about it, it would do you no good.

If someone bought a house for you and gave you the legal
ownership papers, it would belong to you. Even if you had never
seen the house and were living in another state, it would still
be yours. Even if someone else was living in the house, it
would still be yours.

But if you wanted to possess that house and enjoy living in it,
you would have to decide to move there. If others occupied it
when you arrived, you would have to evict them. As the owner
the law is on your side, but you have to enforce the law.

Jesus purchased for you the house called "Healing & Health" and
the written Word of God is the legal notice of your ownership.
Where you choose to live now is up to you. Just because this
belongs to you does not mean the Lord will force you to live in
it.

Healing is not a promise in the New Covenant. A promise is
something that has not yet been done. A promise has to do with
the future. But healing is something that has already been
bought and paid for and is now yours through the sacrifice of
Jesus Christ.

So we should not approach healing in a passive manner, waiting
on God to do something. What we must realize is that God has
already done something about sickness and disease. Now we are
supposed to do something. We are to resist sickness and
actively receive and possess by faith the healing God has
already given us in Christ.

Provision has been made by God. Now it is our responsibility to
possess it.

Don't think this is strange. This is exactly the way God worked
with the children of Israel in the Old Testament. He told them
that the promised land belonged to them, but it was still
occupied by giants and they had to fight to possess the land.

It will be no different with you. For you to possess all that
God says is yours will require you to fight (1 Timothy 6:12).
But your fight will not be with other people, but with your own
feelings and reasonings.

Just as you accept the Bible as sufficient evidence to believe
that your sins are forgiven and you have a home in Heaven,
regardless of how you may feel, you should do the same with
what the Bible says about healing.

This message is not condemning anyone. We have simply been
ignorant of the truth. We have been destroyed for lack of
knowledge (Hosea 4:6). This is written to help spread the truth
so the Body of Christ can start rising up to possess all that
belongs to us.

It's time we quit approaching healing as beggars asking God to
heal us, and accept that the Bible says God has already given
us healing.

Then we can focus on how to possess what already belongs to us,
instead of begging God to give us something He has already
given to us.

What evidence should we demand of God before we will believe
that Jesus purchased our healing and it now belongs to us?
Should we demand that our bodies exhibit no symptoms of
sickness? Should we demand a signed note from our medical
doctor? Should we demand that God appear to us and tell us that
His written Word is actually true?

Are we unwilling to accept the evidence of God's Word, but
willing to always believe what the symptoms in our bodies tell
us? Are the symptoms in our bodies more reliable than God?

Should we ignore what God has said and trust completely in our
physical senses, and medical doctors, as our supreme authority?

It may be true that sickness is in your physical body, but that
is no proof it has a right to stay there.

We can beg God to heal us, and believe He has when we feel no
more symptoms of sickness in our body. Or, we can believe what
God says in the Bible that healing was obtained for us through
the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus, and therefore we should resist
the sickness and by faith possess the healing that already
belongs to us.

God's Word has told us what belongs to us. Now we must act on
what we have been told, and resist everything Jesus redeemed us
from.

Can we expect that all Christians will perfectly resist
sickness? Not any more than we can expect them to always resist
sin. But just because we fail to walk in complete victory is no
proof that it is not God's will and available to us.

Scripture uses the same words to tell us Jesus bore our
sicknesses as it does to tell us Jesus bore our sins. We know
we can still sin, but understand that Jesus has set us free
from sin's power so we don't have to sin. We must learn to see
sickness the same way and resist it as we would resist sin.

This article may leave questions in your mind. One article
cannot explain everything. But healing does belong to you. So
decide to quit letting the devil steal health from you and your
loved ones.

SAY THIS: Healing belongs to me because Jesus paid for it.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

I speak to those places where you have been scattered to bring them into alignment. You have done your best to make all of the pieces fit, but you haven't had all of the pieces you need.
The things that have been missing will come to you and be put in order, says the Lord.
What you need now is patience, wisdom, and direction. Keep your hope and faith alive.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Have new ears to HEAR what the spirit is saying....

Ears to Hear

Posted: 09 Mar 2012

Good morning,

Always, always, always, God has provided and made a way for His children. Sometimes we tend to forget that he is well able and He knows all things and even the times and seasons that we are in. He is our Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who sees ahead and provides. We need to trust that even if there is a famine of any kind or capacity, God knows ahead of time, and He has already made a way for you. He is the same God who rained manna from heaven, sent quails by a wind, called water from rocks, and turned bitter water into sweet. (Ex.chapters 15;16;17;) He fed the prophet Elijah by the brook and then He sent ravens to feed him. (1 Kings17) This same God who changes not, caused a widow's cruse of oil not to run out during a time of famine, gave wisdom to Joseph to feed an entire nation plus the surrounding communities through seven years of famine.(2 Kings 4:2; Gen:41) At another time when Elisha was prophet, during a famine, God caused two lepers to walk into the enemy's camp and scare off the army, leaving behind enough food for the nation of Israel. (2 Kings 7) Then we know that our Lord fed five thousand plus, with five loves of bread and two fish. (Mtt.14 and 15) The ways that God provided was different and unique, but what remained the same is that He always provided. James 1:17 "Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow." "For I [am] the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." (Mal.3:6)

"Be not afraid of sudden terror and panic, nor of the stormy blast or the storm and ruin of the wicked when it comes [for you will be guiltless], For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger]. (Pro. 3:25-26) The Lord should always be our confidence [hope]. The devil tries to get us into fear by moving us to do things from a place of fear, and it being the motivator. I know that God is requiring that we believe that He can do anything that He needs to do to preserve us during all phases of tribulations and difficult times. He knows where our level of faith is, but he is all about us growing up in Him. "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ". (Ephes. 4:14-15) We can't start out in faith and be moved by fear, no, we will trust God and His proven faithfulness. This verse has helped me and one that I have been meditating on it helps me to realize that I must not lean on my own understanding;"I have seen that everything [human] has its limits and end [no matter how extensive, noble, and excellent]; but Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity]." (Psa.119:96) It doesn't matter how great our ideas, plans, or thoughts are about how to provide for ourselves during difficult times, if it isn't a God idea, it will be limited at best, at worst it can be destructive. Don't spend all of your time trying to be God, let Him be God, He has an awesome track record of doing a miraculous job of it!

Love,

Pastor D.

The Weaver

THE WEAVER

My Life is but a weaving
between my Lord and me;
I cannot choose the colors
He worketh steadily.

Oft times He weaveth sorrow
And I, in foolish pride,
Forget He sees the upper,
And I the under side.

Not til the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly,
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful
In the Weaver's skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

He knows, He loves, He cares,
Nothing this truth can dim.
He gives His very best to those
Who leave the choice with Him.

Are You Tired and Weary?

Friday, March 2, 2012

Are You Tired and Weary?

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, The Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

Are you tired of all your circumstances that you face every day regarding your marriage falling apart or being divorced? Are you weary of all that you have to do by yourself? I know and remember all the pain and sorrow that you are going through right now.

God created male, then female to be fruitful and for two parents to raise their children together. You need your spouse to help, to pray, to encourage, to support, to help instruct your children from toddler age through disciplining them through teenage years. Your spouse has been deceived, tempted by the enemy, Satan, to destroy you, and your family. Why would you ever give up standing and praying, to go into another marriage and have it happen again? Look at the statistics; future marriages do not have better stats for having a healthy, stronger family. Let God be your Helper, Counselor and Friend for this difficult time in your life. Allow Him to work on your spouse's heart, even though you may not see it happening right now! Trust the Lord, He IS working on the other side of your mountain of marriage problems.

Are you being tempted to give up and "get on with your life?" What is going to change? You need to learn who you are in Christ. Don't give up on your Lord God, in spite of everything you hear or your family and friends say to you. Cry out to the Lord everyday! Do not become deceived by listening to others how they would handle their own marriage problems. You can walk in victory and success while you are standing for the restoration of your marriage. You are being a lighthouse for the Lord proclaiming that you made a vow, a covenant with your Lord God and you are going to be faithful to your spouse forever.

I just read an email from a stander in Texas that said, “He has allowed me to minister to two people about marriage...both of them were on the verge of separation and divorce. PTL both couples are together and doing so much better. Both are back in church and want to do whatever it takes to make their marriages work!” The Lord wants you to radiate His truths to others. I know when I was standing, the Lord put women who were having marriage problems in my pathway and I was able to share what the Lord had taught me and their marriages were restored. Open your eyes and ears asking the Lord to bring hurting spouses into your arena where you can share what you have learned. You will give them hope when everything is looking impossible! Their marriage may be restored before yours!

We hear from the young mothers who feel that their children would be better off with someone who will love them and become their children. May I share that we have story upon story where the second spouse does not love the children as their own, but instead, they will want you to pay more attention to them than to your children. Do not be deceived by how they act when you are dating. After the marriage, they often become jealous of your time with your children. I know personally, from our extended family's experience, that as your children grow older some people who have a second spouse will want to send the teenager, who may be having troubles, to the other parent.

"Lord, reveal Your truth to this special child of Yours of what is best for themselves and for their precious children. May this dear stander come to know Your mighty power for You to touch and heal their marriage if they will only wait on the Lord's perfect timing. We can see from the beginning of Genesis and throughout the whole Bible that God does not worry about time. Lord, direct this stander's steps and increase their strength to be able to do all that they need to accomplish as You are their spouse for this season. In Jesus mighty Name I pray. Amen."

Have you made mistakes in your own marriage and in your life? Know today that the sins that you have repented of are washed away by the Blood of your Lord Jesus if you have asked Jesus Christ to become your Savior and Lord of your life. He throws our sins into the sea of forgetfulness. Satan is trying to torment you. Tell him that you have been forgiven by the "Blood of the Lamb!" Your Lord can straighten out any crooked path. Believe in God's grace and mercy for you and your marriage. Today read Psalm 25 as a prayer for you and your spouse.

Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. Psalm 25:4-10

Why do people want to stop standing and praying for their spouse? They want their pain to stop and move on with their life seeking happiness. Allow your Lord to give you happiness, peace and joy while you stand. Should you not fear the Lord for being disobedient to His will and way of what He has shown you that He wants to accomplish through you? This is so important to you and your family's lives for eternity. Ask the Lord to give you His strength and hope to get you through these difficult days in your life. He can do it! He can replace your weariness with His joy and peace that is beyond understanding. Stand on the promises of God.

"The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him." Exodus 15:2

Have you become weak in standing for God's best in your life and marriage? Are you tired and weary of fighting the enemy? You do not want to go through any more difficult days, but if you could see the Lord on the other side of the obstacle, cheering you on, you could do it! I believe that is what the Holy Spirit is saying to you right now. The Lord is saying, "Keep moving, go forward, you will reach your promised land, if you do not quit or turn back! You will have a restored marriage. Your children's wounded hearts will be healed. Your spouse will be delivered from sexual addictions, pornography, alcohol, abuse, drugs, gambling or other issues."

The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. Habakkuk 3:19

You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn…The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! Psalm 18:28-36, 46

You must put your hope in your Lord and He will renew your strength. You will not only be like a deer moving and jumping across the field with all four feet, but you will soar on wings like an eagle. Your Lord is your source of help and strength.

Your Lord promises to revive you in the midst of fatigue, exhaustion and weakness. He will give you the ability to rise above your problems and to run spiritually without becoming tired, but walk in steady footsteps of faith, hope and trust in your awesome mighty God. Please memorize Isaiah 40:29-31, so that you can claim it daily for your Lord to give you power and renew your strength. Your Lord God will strengthen and help you right now, in the mighty Name of our Lord Jesus.

"'You are my servant;’ I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:9b-10

Keep praying and believing,

Charlyne
