Doing Good
ACTS 10:38 NKJ
38 "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and
with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were
oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
In this summary of the earthly life of Jesus Christ, the first
thing mentioned is that He "went about doing good."
What does the Bible mean when it speaks of "doing good?"
Doing good must involve some type of giving: either of time or
resources. How else can anyone do good?
Look at some of the verses that instruct us to "do good."
MATTHEW 5:44 NKJ
44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse
you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who
spitefully use you and persecute you,
LUKE 6:27,33,35 NKJ
27 "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to
those who hate you,
33 "And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit
is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
35 "But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for
nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will
be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and
evil.
GALATIANS 6:10 NKJ
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all,
especially to those who are of the household of faith.
HEBREWS 13:16 NKJ
16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such
sacrifices God is well pleased.
We now have a PAYPAL set up if you'd like to give. Karleigh.n@live.com
any amount would bless the Ministries we represent at this time. MANY need HELP and a HAND UP and OUT in this season to launch into their destiny! Do good and plant a seed big or little.
Thank you and God Bless!

Hey guys...
You all know that we need prayers and lifted up like the rest of you reading these postings. In 2012... My daughter Son and I will all be in college this term and glory goes God!!
If you wouldn't mind praying for me however because I'm about 1100.00 shorthand need to get funding with much favor that I can pay the persons back by March 12 (Unless a give or givers would just like to offer it as a blessing to us). Everything I do is done for the LORD and always seeking HIM first. You all know thats a fact!
I always see and hear the many postings of house losses, job losses, car losses and repairs etc....guys n gals I've already walked through this stuff and would love to help encourage your walk into a new mindset for His Glory! This my friends is a TESTING TIME BEFORE you get to the Land of Milk and Honey. Look at the story of Job! Why worry ...you get DOUBLE at least for your trouble when all is said and done and your mate returns back home to your precious family. What do you have to loose until then? Everything perhaps BUT GOD! You also have the time that you are wasting not moving fwd in your own calling and destiny RIGHT NOW. Move fwd doing things for His glory to better yourself...what do you have to loose IF YOU OBEY and step out of your box right NOW? In this Season of NOW??!!!!
What I can do is encourage you...what I can't do is carry an unhealthy load you may have from the past!
Completely let Go and set yourselves free...move fed and out of the box of lies you are being held captive in!! Your mate is dealing with the same stuff just making it look greener with more fertilizer! The GRASS IS NOT GREENER...there personal issues are not resolved nor are the other person(s) they are involved in. BUT YOU HAVE BEEN called to CHANGE not for your mates sake but for your own sake and what God has called YOU TO DO! You will go to those pearly gates ALONE on judgement....hear those words...WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL!
Your mate is not the enemy ...the enemy is the enemy!! He wants to put you under and God wants you on TOP to view and SEE what HE sees from the Summit! It doesnt matter how far the seperation, divorce or so called non cov. union (if you have a living mate...read what the scripture clearly reads with no exception clause). You will be head accountable and Prov 5 leads to the pit and EARLY grave. BE WISE and TURN back...repent and go back HOME to your first love!
Its even written that its FAR BETTER...dig deeper to go higher and KNOW that MANY Pastors and Leaders are ticklin ears and will also have to repent for leading many mates our of marriages that are until death do they part with WRONG and UNSCRIPTUAL council. God CLEARLY HATES DIVORCE and there is NO ESCAPE CLAUSE IF you have a LIVING mate. Its until death (it even states you are not free to remarry). It doesnt say if so and so wasnt what and what... THATS MAN!
Dont take my word for it TAKE HIS!! I'll be glad to lead you to scriptures to clear up any debate you may have. I and others have studied ourselves approved.
Move fwd in the days ahead with a new beginning because in the end you have nobody else to blame. You are NO longer a Victim unless YOU allow it to continue it as baggage that you carry on into YOUR future!
The past is just that the past....but your future is NOW!
We've all made it this far now GO for it...He has your back and your families healings and future restoration!
We've made it on Public transportation or on foot with no housing to call our own the death of a parent...saving of a sibling with intervention with a sucide attempt on Easter of this year BUT GOD! People may TRY to push you over the edge but don't go into that temptation into their thinking (that will in the end distroy them with their sinful vises & lustful distructions. Resist going there or looking at their FB pages...sadly people will be people and would rather distroy others around them and so called moving on than actually fixing themselves (fixing the fix with another releationship or so called non cov marriage doesnt change the adultry issues on going nor their fate come judgement day.....
SO What's holding YOU back and why so many factors and excuses? Go for the thing that scares you the MOST...Change is hard...Go for the New Job or Schooling etc...you wont regret it! Kids have a way of turing out when you teach them His ways and lead by example. Be there for them every moment you can but DONT stop living or remain still. Go after those job skills you'll need when they graduate. Dont be left in the same old pattern of disctruction and pitfalls. Nobody can change You but YOU! The Holy Spirit is the only one who can change the other person...
Hes in the MIRACLE BUSINESS...but dont keep repeating the same ol relationship problems with a new face...many are attracted to same ( and always turn out to be even worse persoanlities)
Hold out for that one that the Lord bound you to at the Cov marriage of your Youth as its written. Dont sell your soul with material posessions that are only temp on this earth...go for eternal value with God instead...because TIME IS SHORTER than you think!! Amen
Im PRAYING FOR YOU ALWAYS!!!
God WILL GET THE GLORY!
NO. longer be your own worst enemy..
Try and step back to view what Gods been speaking ....HE speaks to us all..
it just may not be what you want to hear to Chanel you first and then your mate!!
Praying for you....please pray for what we need as well...provisions for His vision!
If this offends you ...its not me bringing. You this message for maturity. He wants you on solid. Food and not baby formula in this hour of maturity.
Growth is change and seasons are about to shift!

Ephesians 6:5
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns--12/29/11
Beloved, I am making a distinction between things that are your responsibility and under your authority and those things that are not. Your experience can be on both sides of this issue--taking responsibility that is not yours to take or expecting someone else to take responsibility that is yours. I am bringing correction so that those lines of distinction can be drawn and issues can become clear to you and to others. Be sensitive, and let Me show you by example the difference, says the Lord.
Ephesians 6:5 Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men.

Good morning,
Dearly beloved, now is the time for all that have been hurt, wounded, standing and going through. Now is the time for you to run under the shade of the arm of your beloved. You have been fighting what seems like an unusual strong tide of demonic activity. Realize that the closer that heaven touches earth and the glory showers comes with greater intensity, so does the enemy imitate what I do. He tries to intensify in wickedness and in evil activity, but remember I have given to you all power over and above his. Always keep in your heart that you, My dear ones will excel in greater strength, sharper vision, greater sensitivity to Holy Spirit, and more persuaded to run the race. Every tear that you cry out to Me is heard and kept in a bottle, where they are added to your many prayers and are poured out over all of the seeds that you have sown in the Kingdom by love. Do not let anyone or anything pluck up what I grown in My garden, you bring forth the sweetest aroma my dearest. You must keep moving forward by taking steps daily that I have laid out for you. Do not stop in your advancing, you will find that you recover readily, it is an ability that I have given to you. You know that My desire is for you to receive the Kingdom that I have freely given, to all that love Me and keep my commands.
You are the apple of My eye and I delight to attend to you and give to you the best and the highest. Keep running the race that I have set before you, keep moving forward! Run to obtain the prize.
Being strong in Me does not mean being without feelings. Feelings do not control you, yet you are to be sensitive and full of compassion for all in My house that are running alongside you. Also, consider all those who may have fallen and need your compassion and strength to encourage them to stand. Be a beacon of light for Me. Keep in mind that after standing, you are to continue standing in the power of My might. It is My ability that you can rely on. It is the only way that you will withstand in the evil days. I will not let you fall, rest and learn to lean on Me. I will bring you with ease to the next level of destiny. The best is yet to be seen!
Love,
Pastor D.

Soft Straws....You will be held accountable for every word you speak of others on the day of judgement
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:
My beloved children, if you could see the extent of destruction that is set in motion when you speak against one another, you would learn to hold your tongue. However, this is not a matter of words but of the condition of your heart and your willingness to say things about someone else that you would not want spoken about yourself, says the Lord. You will be held accountable for every word that you speak, so be careful what you say.
Matthew 12:36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

Salvation Is A Completely Free Gift
Salvation Is A Completely Free Gift
EPHESIANS 2:8-9 NLT
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't
take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done,
so none of us can boast about it.
If salvation is based on our performance -- on what we do --
then it is not by grace. Our salvation is based on what Jesus
Christ did. Our part is simply to receive the gift!
ROMANS 4:1-4 NLT
1 Abraham was, humanly speaking, the founder of our Jewish
nation. What did he discover about being made right with God?
2 If his good deeds had made him acceptable to God, he would
have had something to boast about. But that was not God's way.
3 For the Scriptures tell us, "Abraham believed God, and God
counted him as righteous because of his faith."
4 When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something
they have earned.
Salvation cannot be a free gift and also be something we must
earn. Either we earn it, or it is a gift. It cannot be a
mixture of the two.
If you claim to give me a gift, but you ask me for any payment
-- no matter how small -- then it is not a gift but something I
am buying for a reduced price. Buying something on sale does
not make it a gift. If there is any payment involved, by
definition, it is not a gift.
ROMANS 11:6 NASB
6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works,
otherwise grace is no longer grace.
Today, just as in Bible times, there are those who teach that
being right with God can only be achieved by keeping their list
of rules. But this is not the true teaching of the New
Covenant.
ACTS 15:5,10-11 NLT
5 But then some of the believers who belonged to the sect of
the Pharisees stood up and insisted, "The Gentile converts must
be circumcised and required to follow the law of Moses."
10 So why are you now challenging God by burdening the Gentile
believers with a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were
able to bear?
11 We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the
undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus."
ROMANS 4:14,16 NLT
14 If God's promise is only for those who obey the law, then
faith is not necessary and the promise is pointless.
16 So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free
gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we
live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like
Abraham's. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.
TITUS 3:5 NLT
5 he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done,
but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a
new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
Those who present a plan of salvation based on your performance
are not rightly dividing the Word. Yes, many Scriptures give
instruction on what we are to do. But they are instructions for
how to live, not how to be saved and enter the family of God.
Will there be rewards and consequences for our actions? Yes!
Scripture makes that clear. But our entrance into God's family
and our home in Heaven is not based on our performance, but on
our faith in what Jesus performed.
SAY THIS: I don't have to work to earn the free gift of God's
salvation.

Accept People As They Are
Accept People As They Are
ROMANS 15:7 NIV
7 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in
order to bring praise to God.
We have only two choices, accept people, or reject them. When
you realize this, it may change the way you treat people.
When we criticize or condemn people, we communicate rejection.
When we try to change people, it communicates that they are not
good enough for us, that we don't like them.
"But what if they are not perfect? What if they don't believe
everything I believe?"
Were you born believing all you do now? Or did you go through a
process of learning over time? Should we throw out people
because they still have something to learn?
What happens when you don't accept people as they are? It feeds
the lie that they are no good and have no value.
We can accept people and celebrate their value without
approving of their sins. But when we refuse to accept people
until they are perfect, we communicate rejection.
When someone feels rejected, they tend to reject those who
reject them, and what they represent. So when Christians
communicate rejection to sinners, they assume God is rejecting
them, and tend to reject God because they think He rejects
them.
Whenever you reject someone, you have set yourself up as their
judge, something only God is truly qualified to do.
To walk with Jesus you will have to treat people as Jesus would
treat them. You may not like the way they look, talk, act,
think, or smell, but if they are a human being you must
acknowledge that Jesus Christ loves them enough to die for
them.
Jesus is our perfect example, and He is not rejecting people
(John 6:37). Instead, the Bible reveals that Jesus Christ is
our Advocate, (our defense lawyer), not the one who condemns (1
John 2:1, Romans 8:34).
People are hurting. Usually they know they need to change, to
be better, and to do better. What they have not discovered is a
way they can change. They have probably tried, but given up in
defeat.
Only God's unconditional love can give them the strength they
need to have hope. Most people realize that if they must earn
God's help there is no hope for them.
This is the main reason why so many people shun Christianity
and want to have nothing to do with God. They have accepted a
wrong image of God, thinking He is a stern Judge who is against
them, instead of realizing the truth that He is a loving Father
like the father in the story of the Prodigal Son that Jesus
told us about in Luke 15:11-32.
God accepts people as they are. So should we. Christ died for
the ungodly (Romans 5:6). God so loved the world that He gave.
People crave love. Unconditional love will draw people. It is
God's goodness that leads people to repent (Romans 2:4).
Every time we meet someone, we are faced with a choice: love
them -- or judge them, accept them as they are -- or attempt to
change them, make them feel respected -- or despised, make them
feel valuable and precious -- or make them feel worthless.
You might as well accept people as they are instead of trying
to change them. You can't change people anyway. Only God can
really change people. Our job is to love them and help them.
Also remember that God made people to be different. So don't
expect everyone will be exactly like you.
SAY THIS: I will accept people and love them with God's love.

We are Brothers and Sisters
We Are Brothers And Sisters
JOHN 17:23 NLT
23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such
perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and
that you love them as much as you love me.
Jesus indicates there is something about the unity of believers
that will cause the world to believe. This does not mean we
will ever agree on every doctrine, or that we must all join the
same church denomination.
No! God is a God of diversity who makes every snowflake and
every person unique. God does not expect us all to think and be
alike. But God does expect us to obey His law of love.
We should walk in love and respect one another. Really we
should do that toward all people -- how much more those in
God's own family, our brothers and sisters in Christ.
We will never agree on every detail of everything simply
because we are all learning and growing. None of us knows
everything yet. We are like the Apostle Paul and only know in
part.
JOHN 17:21 NKJ
21 "that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I
in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may
believe that You sent Me.
Our unity must be based on being in Christ and our submission
to Him as our Lord, not in all of us thinking and acting the
same. Humans, being unique, will always approach things in
their own individual way. Our unity can never be on the basis
of conformity. Brothers and sisters are not all alike. We have
different giftings, different callings, and different
perspectives.
Maybe you are certain that your doctrine is right and everyone
else is missing it. You may be right! Regardless, your brothers
and sisters have not been kicked out of God's family just
because they have not learned all that you know. So quit trying
to act like the parent and straighten out your siblings. God
will do that.
What we must agree on is that anyone who acknowledges Jesus
Christ as their Lord is our brother or sister in Christ. No
matter how goofy they may act, or how ignorant they may seem,
they belong in our family and we have a responsibility to
protect them and help them. Our Father God did not give us the
responsibility of correcting them or judging them -- He can
handle that task very well by Himself.
A good older brother who has a younger sibling who is mentally
or physically challenged will not join in with hecklers to
torment, but protects his sibling from such attacks. Surely,
when we realize that all who acknowledge Jesus are children of
God, we can do the same for them.
We must quit criticizing and condemning others who belong to
the Lord Jesus Christ. It does not matter what they believe or
don't believe on any other doctrine. If they acknowledge Jesus
Christ is Lord, they are in our family -- we are on the same
team. We should fight the devil and not our own family.
I am not advocating compromise -- but maturity. We should not
act like spoiled two-year-old brats. We are children of the
King!

Jesus Is Our Advocate
1 JOHN 2:1 NKJ
1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you
may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the
Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
The Greek word translated as Advocate in this verse is
parakletos. It means someone called to one's aid; someone who
pleads another's cause before a judge; a counsel for defense, a
legal assistant, an advocate, and a helper.
Many people have never fully grasped that Jesus Christ is on
our side. Just like a defense lawyer, He pleads our case.
We should not sin, because sin is harmful -- to us and to
others. But even if we do sin, Jesus Christ is still on our
side. He is not accusing us, but defending us on the basis of
His sacrifice at Calvary.
The devil is the one who accuses us, who brings up all our sins
and shortcomings, and tells us we don't deserve anything good.

Prepare for VICTORY!!
Prepare Ye Victuals
(NLT Bible) Joshua 1:10 "Go through the camp and tell the people to get their provisions ready. In three days you will cross the Jordan River and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you."
(New KJV) 10Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.
(KJV) (Jos 1:10) Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, (Jos 1:11) Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.
The Word of the Lord for today is... In three days you will pass over this Jordan (this trial). Spend three days praying, fasting, in worship and in the Word. After preparation, you are now to possess the land. It is up to you to go in to possess it. He promised the children of Israel the land of milk and honey. He has promised much to you. Receive it. Whatever ever your promise is, stand and receive. Don’t let anything contrary to the will of God pass through your lips. Speak faith and only faith. When you prepare “victuals,” you are getting ready through washing your mind in the Word of God and by prayer. (Rom 12:2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
If you never prayed through, do it today. Some of you many not know what prayed through means. It means you pray in the Holy Ghost until you feel set free from whatever it was. You don’t just get through praying you pray through. Don’t quit until you have that reassurance way down in your soul. You know that you know that you know whatever it was you were asking God.
Another scripture… Read in (Jos 5:14) And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
Let’s talk about receiving from God. In Jewish customs, the law made them declare themselves unclean when they came near someone or pass by them if they had been diagnosed with leprosy. Persons had the right to know that they had Leprosy and were contagious. They had a law that if someone received a miracle healing from Leprosy, they were to return to the priest and show themselves to him. He would declare them clean or unclean. If they were declared clean, then they could return to life with other Jews being no longer separated because of their illness. When Jesus healed the leper who was referred to in Mark, chapter one, He commanded Him to go and show himself to the priest as was the custom.
Read these scriptures…(Mar 1:40) And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. (Mar 1:41) And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. (Mar 1:42) And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed. (Mar 1:43) And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away. (Mar 1:44) And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
As in every Old Testament story, He is teaching us from this about our faith walk today. This is just another metaphor (or type and shadow). I want you to get a hold of this revelation on receiving from God.
We have often read this scripture and were fed by it. However, it says more than we have been seeing. Look at it again. (Rev 12:11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony… Sometimes when we see the word “word” it is literally another name for God. Sometimes it means His Holy Scriptures. In this case, the word of their testimony has a different meaning. Word is talking about speaking. The speaking of your testimony is your act of faith in receiving from God. wordG3056 wordG3056 G3056
Λόγος, logos, log'-os, From G3004; something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension a computation; specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (that is, Christ): - account, cause, communication, X concerning, doctrine, fame, X have to do, intent, matter, mouth, preaching, question, reason, + reckon, remove, say (-ing), shew, X speaker, speech, talk, thing, + none of these things move me, tidings, treatise, utterance, word, work.
He said in (Jas 1:22) But be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. To be doers of the word, you must act on the word. When you receive a miracle, it is up to you to receive it by faith. Act on the Word. That means put some word in your testimony. If you confess that “God can,” then you have reached hope. When you confess from your heart that “God will,” you are still in hope but your faith level is growing. You are moving into receiving from God but you are not quite there yet. When someone, for example, prays for your healing, let you testimony be “God is.” That is making Him a right now God. That is receiving from God.
What is the word of your testimony? How do you receive from God? You must bring Him into the NOW. I think this verse found in Hebrews 11:1, has been misquoted for years. Yes, it says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, but that is not exactly what it says. It says NOW. Now faith is the answer. Bring your faith into the right now He is doing it. That is how you can receive from God. This is the day that He has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. (Heb 11:1) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
We brought up the scripture found in James 1:22 about being a “doer of the Word.” Well, let’s go a little further down here in verse 25. If you will notice it says a doer of the work, not word right here. (Jas 1:25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the WORK, this man shall be blessed in his deed. It takes effort for you to receive from God. You must be a doer of the WORK. To receive from God, you must speak your testimony in faith. Maybe you have not seen a thing in the natural, but it says it in the word and that is good enough. Choose to stand with your testimony. Then God can work with your words and do your full miracle. (Read=Mark 16:20) When you speak correctly, the Lord will work with you. The result is signs and wonders.
Joshua and Caleb went to spy out the land. God has sent twelve spies. Only two came back with a good report. They all saw the same thing, but only Joshua and Caleb were looking through the eyes of faith. They said “we are well able.” The ten said “they were giants in the land and we looked like grasshoppers in their sight.” Only Joshua and Caleb entered into the Promised Land. It was because they had believed by faith what God promised and they had given testimony of it when they chose to believe what God had promised over anything else.
Receiving is a choice. In order to walk in the blessings of Abraham as you have been promised, you have a choice to make. You must choose to receive and obey the instructions. You must believe that when you do obey, the Lord is honest. He cannot tell a lie. That is impossible. He said He would do it for you. You must choose to receive every promise. He is doing it for you. Receive it right now. In (Deu 30:19) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
You receive it by believing God is doing it right now. Quit putting off your miracles into the future. Fast from wrong thinking and wrong speaking. Now that is a fast! (Phill4:8) Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Wrong thinking…. That is for another time.
In the story of David just before he went after Goliath, he encouraged himself with his past victories. He was teaching us to walk in faith here. David gave himself testimony of the times he killed the bear and the lion who had tried to kill his sheep. We need to look around and see what God has done. Declare it. Feed yourself and others with the Word of YOUR TESTIMONY. We must encourage ourselves with those words of victories to build faith. (Read=Romans 10:17)
· In the story found in 1 Samuel below, David had two of his wives taken hostage along with the families of all his army while they were out fighting the battles. The men were so distressed they wanted to stone David. David had to encourage himself. He gave himself testimony of the Word of God. He spoke of past victories and future promises. He kept testifying what he knew to be the will of God, unto his faith was strong to go get their families. (1Sa 30:6) And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. Faith comes from the Word of God, so David had to have been testifying the Word of God to build his faith back up.
We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the “word” of our testimony. We must come into agreement with the will of God. (Read=1 John 5:14-15) Testify the will of God with your name in it. It is for you, just as it is for me.
(Luk 15:10) Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
(Heb 13:17) Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Is this talking about man or about God?
What brings God joy here? (Heb 13:16) But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
What brings God joy here? (Luk 15:7) I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
(3Jn 1:2) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. He takes joy when we prosper, when we are in health, and when we are saved. This is what makes the Father happy.
What brings God joy here? (Luk 6:38) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
It makes Him happy when He is able to give to us… We are His children.
Get into worship. Expect to hear from God. Have you ask Him to speak to you? Now just listen.

Being Thankful
Posted: 13 Dec 2011 02:00
Good morning,
Today I was reminded yet again about the importance of being thankful. Quite often when we are going through any kind of testing or trial, we lose sight of all of the good things that God has already blessed us with. Yet, if you have an agreement with The Father He will, by the Holy Spirit, gently encourage you to continue to offer thanksgiving. Today, I saw a clip about a young boy of 10 years old, that was blind and autistic. There he was singing the song, "Open the Eyes of My Heart." Well, that instantly caused me to cease murmuring, and start thanking God for His faithfulness to me. Here he was singing, "open the eyes of my heart, I want to see you!"
Jesus gave His life in order to make it clear to us by the Holy Spirit, all that God has prepared and planned for all who believe in Him and continue to put their trust in Him. "[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength.." (Ephes. 1:17-19) After all isn't that what we really want and need most of all is a spirit of wisdom and revelation, of insight into mysteries and secrets into the deep and intimate knowledge of Him? God has granted that to us, but this too is in progression, or in stages of growth. It is to the degree of our hunger or pursuit. We want to know the deep intimate secrets and mysteries of God, but a lot of the time we really don't want to have to do what's necessary to be in the position to have the eyes of our heart flooded. Deep is extending far down from the surface; the part of greatest intensity. Intimate is very private; closely personal; (of an association, knowledge, understanding, etc.) arising from close personal connection or familiar experience. We can go as far as we want from 'surface Christianity', and be as close as we want to knowing and understanding more about our Father. When we avail ourselves to Him more often during our day, we will find our eyes flooded with light. By setting our minds to be more sensitive to Holy Spirit all day long. The eyes here represent the faculty of knowing; having vision or being able to see; to be discerning or perceptive. Light is to illumine; to render evident; to become clear; to instruct and inform; and to give understanding to. Flood is to overflow or an out pour of; to overwhelm with an abundance of.
I know that we will never know it all, for only God is Omniscient (having complete or unlimited knowledge, awareness, or understanding; perceiving all things). Except that He does want us to really know Him and His secrets and mysteries that He is wanting to reveal. And He replied to them, To you it has been given to know the secrets and mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given." (Matt. 13:11) Let's read it in the 'Message Bible', "He replied, "You've been given insight into God's kingdom. You know how it works. Not everybody has this gift, this insight; it hasn't been given to them. Whenever someone has a ready heart for this, the insights and understandings flow freely. But if there is no readiness, any trace of receptivity soon disappears." We already have so much more secrets, mysteries, and insights flowing freely into our life just because of knowing Him. Is there a readiness and a receptive heart in you for an abundance and overflow of Him, until all things become more clearer and evident to us? We can decree and declare that, "I have a spirit of wisdom and revelation into the deep intimate knowledge of Him." Let us begin to pray this prayer for our own life as well as being thankful for what has already been given to us. "But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!" (Ephes. 1:17-19; Message Bible) Open the eyes of my heart!

Update on Lauren Scruggs from yesterday.
Lauren had a great day today!
She was awake and alert for most of the day! She was able to drink some juice and eat a tiny bit, keep praying for this! She walked up and down the hall 3 times today with the help of a physical therapist, the doctors are all very pleased with her progress.
Earlier in the week, we requested prayer for Lauren's facial nerve, and it appears prayers have been answered! Lauren is able to smile and lift both eyebrows on her own, such a miracle! Please continue to pray for this recovery, as well as her left eye. Lauren's sweet spirit continues to shine through every day, reminding us of the miracle that she is!

The Year of 2012 Your Labor
Posted: 09 Dec 2011 02:00 AM PST
Good morning,
Today let's finish talking about the dream and it's interpretation.
For three nights I dreamed the same dream; "There were eight deer standing on a hill at several stages of growth. In the distance behind them were twelve trees swaying in the breeze. A major snow storm had come and the deer were almost overtaken by it, yet they stood immovable. The twelve trees refused to bend under the pressure of the heaviness of the snow. We have already shared about the number eight especially associated with 'resurrection' and 'regeneration' and the beginning of a new era. The number three signifies the perfectly divine and heavenly number. The number twelve signifying "perfection of government". Now we all know that we are oftentimes referred in scripture as certain things, to denote the character of those things. For example: sheep, goats, wolves; we are referred to as deer; eagles; members of a body; and trees; just to name a few. In the Bible we see a deer as a hart as well as deer. Here is one scripture, "As the hart pants and longs for the water brooks, so I pant and long for You, O God." (Psalm 42:1) Deer have a four-chambered stomach and they have high nutrition requirements. That is what we should have toward the Kingdom of God, our thirst and hunger for God should cause us to seek the high nutrition of His word above all else. We are not to just go around eating anything under the guise of "Christianity." Deer are selective eaters too.
Now the definition of 'trees' is a plant having a permanent woody main stem or trunk, ordinarily growing to a considerate height and usually developing branches. Now we are likened unto trees in several places: "And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]." (Psalm 1:3) "[Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit," (Jer.17:7-8) "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." (Is. 61:3) Now the Amplified version of this verse says a lot about trees, that should describe us; "To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion--to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit--that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified." This year my brothers and sisters we must be lofty, strong, magnificent, but most of all distinguished, set apart by our uprightness or doing right according to the Word of God. Of course our ability to do this is in line with us being firmly planted and tended by the streams of the river. Determined to be people who are determined to remain consistent and constant in bringing forth the fruit of the Spirit, in-spite of all that is going on around us. Trees don't get up and move around to find the conditions that they think are better for them. We must not bend or break. The year 2012 will be the time that those who are trees will receive beauty for ashes, oil of joy instead of mourning, praise instead of a heavy burden. We will be truly distinguishable from all who haven't made the right choice. "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, [like a tree] always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose." (1 Corin. 15:58)

The Fathers Love
THE FATHER’S LOVE By David Wilkerson
Many people find it difficult to think of God as a loving Father. They see Him through eyes clouded with the pain of past experiences with an ungodly father or stepfather.
Thousands of Christians do not believe God loves them because their earthly father abandoned, wounded, or grieved them so badly. I pray that this message will speak not only to them but also to those of you who have not yet discovered the depths of our heavenly Father’s love!
Many of us know the Scriptures and the theology behind God’s great love for His children. Yet very few of us have learned to appropriate that love and we are not enjoying the benefits of having it.
Listen to how God described Himself to Moses:
“The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin . . .” (Exodus 34:6-7).
When we are in the midst of our trials, we forget what God has said about His own nature. Yet, if we would only believe Him in such times, we would have great assurance in our souls. From cover to cover, the Bible speaks to us as God’s voice, revealing to us how tender and loving He is.
He is ready to forgive at all times. “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You” (Psalm 86:5).
He is patient with us, full of tenderness and mercy. “Great are Your tender mercies, O Lord” (Psalm 119:156). “The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy” (Psalm 145:8).
When you go to the Lord in prayer and worship, be very careful what kind of image of God you take into His presence! You must be fully convinced of His love for you and believe that He is all He says He is!

This is the message our Street Ministry/Ministry House is trying to get out in THIS HOUR! See Below message for updates!
BREAD OF LIFE! Consider these words... let them sink in... I AM the Bread of Life! He that comes to ME, will never hunger... and he that Believes on ME will never thirst. Jesus spoke these words over two millennia ago, yet they are as powerful and vital today as the moment that He first uttered them. How so? Because God is a Spirit... He created time, (as we know it in these mortal bodies of clay), but He is in no way limited by time. Jesus, The Christ, is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Not a single one of His words will ever return to Him void, but will accomplish that to which it was sent. These words speak to our inner man... that spirit being within each one of us. Now, even as then, Christ's words fall upon carnal ears and understanding, while the carnal intellect tries to make sense of them. And now, even as then, these same words also fall upon spiritual ears that are hungering and thirsting in this wasteland of sin and misery... ears that can spiritually discern the truths contained in these simple terms. I Am the Bread of Life! Jesus is making a statement of FACT... there is no margin for error here... no 'maybe,' no 'I could be.' HE IS... the 'I AM.' This is the first thing that we need to come to grips with. "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" Matthew 4:4. Forget all of your theological training. Forget all of your opinions and theories. Throw away all of your fancy charts and graphs created by men in an attempt to 'figure out' the 'Plan of God' in a logical, predictable way. We are inundated with the teachings of men, while we are starving for the Life-Giving Bread that is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the WORD. Jesus is the LIFE. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" John 1:14. Hear what Jesus said: "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" John 6:63. "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away" Mark 13:31. "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels" Mark 8:38. If we are to 'believe' what Jesus plainly states here, then we must acknowledge that Jesus IS the Word, and the Word is Christ; we cannot separate the two ... except to our own detriment. In all of the parables, Jesus compared heavenly realities... to mankind's most basic and fundamental points of reference; this fallen world and our fleshly understanding. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to grasp the Gospel of the Kingdom. It is not complicated, nor is it too difficult for even a little child to comprehend. Yet down through the ages, few have found and partaken of this 'Bread of Life.' The reason being, man loves his carnality [forms, rituals, traditions, pre-eminence] more than he loves God. He is satisfied with his own wisdom. He wants to follow after the many and varied lusts of the flesh. God's commandment... "Be ye holy, as I Am holy"... is repugnant to the natural man. The entire concept of holiness is foreign to every fiber of our self-gratifying, self-exalting, self-preserving natures. Yet holiness is God's requirement... He declared it in the Old Testament and HE never rescinded it.... "For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth" Lev 11:44. "Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God" Lev20:7. How can we be holy? What hope do we have of ever complying with all of God's commandments... of truly being changed? Paul told us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Do you see the connection between what Jesus stated and what the Apostle Paul declared? We need never hunger or thirst again; we become a new creature... all because we come to Christ, we partake of His life and His death. In our own strength we can do nothing, but in HIM, all things are possible. Jesus said, "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him" John 5:22. And in Revelation 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war." The same Jesus that said in John 12:47 "And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world" is also the 'Righteous Judge'... whose judgment will be the very words He has already spoken. We have HIS words, are we receiving them? Are we paying attention? Or are we allowing ourselves to be distracted by the multitude of teachings and interpretations of men? When Jesus came here in the flesh, he disappointed the leaders of that day. They had their own preconceived ideas of what the promised Messiah was all about. Their desire was for him to set them free from Roman occupation; to give his approval to all of their many religious works, and to give them even more power and prestige over the people. There was such an enormous gulf between their expectations and God's divine purpose in sending His Son, that they could not (would not) accept that this carpenter's son could possibly be their long-awaited Messiah. You see, God has His own agenda, and His agenda is the only one that matters. So we would all be well advised to lay down all of our preconceived notions and ideas concerning Christ's second coming, because man today is just as guilty of having it wrong as the Pharisees of old were. "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" John 14:23. He also said: "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you" John 15:7. These two verses illustrate keys, or contingencies if you will, to our spiritual walk. If we love God, then we will keep His words. We cannot have one without the other. God will not make His abode with those who are running after the things of this life, while ignoring Christ's words. Contrary to popular teachings, God will not 'pour blessing down from heaven' upon us because we are meeting the criteria of any denominational creed, according to the teachings of any one of the multitude of highly esteemed leaders that are flourishing today. Jesus said "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." HIS WORDS are life... If we are abiding in Him, and His words are abiding in us, then we are experiencing HIS LIFE. Jesus only said and did what He saw the Father in heaven say and do. There is no way to be in Christ, and do our own thing. It is impossible. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" Philippians 2:6. Paul fully grasped the ramifications of being a 'follower of Jesus Christ.' The early Church had no illusions of avoiding all pain and suffering in this life. Quite the contrary, for many of them just to give ear to these new teachings meant immediate persecution. Their families, Synagogues and communities rejected them. They were tortured, imprisoned, stoned, all because they believed that Jesus was the 'Son of God.' Because they had the audacity to believe that He is the 'Bread of Life' ... in flagrant rebellion against their religious leaders. Two thousand years have not tempered man's resistance against God's ways. This 'lifetime' is a battleground for our souls. We can remain in the quagmire of this flesh, slaves to its lustful demands, or we can bring it into subjection to the indwelling Spirit of God. Paul exhorts us to 'work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.' Peter had a very similar admonition for them that would believe... "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" 1 Peter 4:18. Why would those who were closest to our Lord give us such strong warnings, if it were not needful? Religion is mankind's most valiant attempt... to comply with God's commandments. Today, the evidence is plain throughout the world... that man's best attempts have failed miserably. Jesus did not call us to join-up with organized religion, nor to attach ourselves to any branch, sect or offshoot thereof, nor to follow after any person. He called us to come to HIMSELF! To partake of the 'Bread of Life!' "He that Comes to ME, will never hunger... and he that Believes on ME will never thirst." If we would believe, then we are assured that we will never spiritually hunger or thirst, no matter what circumstance we find ourselves in. "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled" Matthew 5:6. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" Romans 12:2. "If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us" 2 Timothy 2:12. "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" 1 Corinthians 2:14. There are more than ample warnings and admonishments throughout the scriptures. We should pay close attention to each one of them, and apply them to our own spiritual walk. But above all else, we should especially contemplate all of Jesus' words. His words are the keys to life. The difference is laid out in John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." We can be partakers of "abundant life'... in Christ Jesus. In the opening verse, Jesus declared: "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." The 'Church' is totally unprepared for what is coming. We have been so deceived by those we thought surely we could trust, that to have our eyes opened and see the truth of the matter can very nearly shatter our world. And well it should... if our trust and confidence are based on the things of this world, or the perceived wisdom and abilities of another person. Jesus alone is the Bread of Life. Judgment is already at the door, have we really prepared our hearts to receive Him? "Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever" John 6:53-58. "Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" John 6:60-63. "This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth" 1 John 5:6. Following Christ is not an easy road to walk. Taking up our cross will bring about the crucifixion of our flesh... 'self' must die if we are ever to live by the power of the spirit, and walk as Jesus walked in this earth. Many of Jesus' words are very difficult to comprehend, and some are offensive to our way of thinking. There is only one way to be an overcomer, to walk in victory through this 'vail of tears.' And that is to do it, not in our own strength, or our own understanding... but in the power of the Holy Spirit residing within our hearts, renewing our minds. We must come to Christ with an honest heart. We must be willing to lay down everything... and follow Him. That is the only way. But if we are willing, the rewards are beyond anything our wildest imaginations can conceive of. "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world" 1 John 4:17. "...He that eateth of this bread shall live forever!"... Amen & Amen
