Holidays... A Standers prospective. Many often wonder does this Stand get any easier as time goes on?

I have had this heavy on my heart these past few days. Many Standers often wonder if this walk & stand gets any easier. I'm sure that simply depends on the deep agape love in which each person is standing for their own mates deliverance(s). There are never any shortcuts in life so why should this phase in our walks be any different? It does get harder waiting month after month and year after year. We are to look to Jesus for our help in times of need. We are never suppose to put our Cov. Mates in the position of an idol or light where Christ ought to be first place. No matter if your mate is with you or seperated from you in this hour they are walking in darkness until they return in a Godly sorrow and complete repentance. Its simply our faithfulness being walked out daily with Him. He wants your mate back on track more than you do. You may even see your mate doing things attending church in this hour. Yet you see no change in their heart towards you or your children. Many Standers question this. They ask why or how can they go to church and yet not yet be changed. How come they keep playing house? Don't they know that they are walking in a fire zone with the enemy? That same enemy that led them astray and in most cases into permanant adultery with the other (or countless others). How can they not see truth set before them? Proverbs 5 in any version of the Bible speaks that of the same and where they will spend eternity. It leads to an early grave. Many ask why do they have to suffer as these prodical mates take their kids for weeks introducing another person as a new replacement. Beloved there is never ever a replacement for the real parent. In most cases these mates are seekings love in all the wrong places (just like the song). They have involved many different people in their life. Ones that they will have to explain that they made a mistake when they return. Or simply never see again because the Lord will speak to them to run and escape the plot of the enemy. God always gives them a way of escape! Trust Him to bring about the needed changes in you first and then them. Your heart needs healing and your faith is being exersized in this latter hour. It is only a test of you being in the fire. Does this walk get easier? Yes in some ways it does. When you first begin Standing and you don't even know what that means you might even find yourself on the floor in a ball feeling so broken and hopeless. You may cry and cry for times that go on forever. I confess that I did just that. The Lord will have you pray for other 1st marriages just like yours because He wants the generation sin cycle broken off your side or their side (sometimes both sides of the family). He wishes for His church the bride to be without spot nor wrinkle standing for rightousness. I can tell you that I along with countless standers have Christmas or other holidays that are harder in some years than others. Some of these wayward mates are involved with people who walk in the complete agreement with ungodly council even IF they are in a church. We are living in dark days where we are called to be the light. We are not better than they are we still have sin. Yet may be called to a higher level in our maturity in our walk. What I am trying to say here is like being under the influence your mate along with the other people they are with (even if they are calling them family now) are all under the influence of not only the world but the enemy himself. People may not yet see the circumstances of their poor choices which many times include injury or even premature death. They think that they are on the right path yet feel uneasy knowing that they need to be home with their Real wife and kids. Does it get easier....sometimes yes. If you are looking to the Lord instead of man being perfect it takes the weight (and wait off). Even IF they are taking photos of each other and YOUR kids and flaunting a so called perfect life...know its a lie of smoke and mirrors. Its just a matter of time and salvation. It takes just one of these wayward people to see the light again and send them off packing. Just like you were broken God will and can break them. Only the when they are walking humble before the Lord can they be used effectively for His Kingdom. So if you are hurting just remember that God hears the prayers of the righteous and in His perfect timing they will be answered. He collects every tear you have cried. Please know that our Prayer team is PRAYING & fasting for you daily. Next year will be different and I pray that God finds you faithful to His calling as well as stronger with heals dug in deeper. Its not your battle its always been HIS!! Only the Lord Jesus Christ will get the GLORY for your restoration to come.. May the next holiday which is quick on our heals find you praising Him instead of crying. His return is one day closer and I pray that your focus is on what you can do serving the Lord instead of an inward focus of perhaps self pity on yourself. He works on us all one day at a time. You are born with a purpose and a calling. Do you accept Jesus as your everything? Or do you simply clock out on holidays worried about why God hasn't done what He has promised and fall into the pit of disparity? He will deliver us all! Amen So get up and rejoice!! Take that bed and walk. You have power in that walk! Sharpen those tools in your spiritual toolbox and then let God do the fighting. There is power in His name!!! No more weakness so quit nursing those wounds. You are set free and delivered in this hour. Your mate will see your bright light. Keep standing trusting and believing its all coming to pass the way the Lord has promised in his Word. Holidays are just another day to God. We should be living like givers everyday as well as celebrating His soon return. Where is your focus? Is it on man made material possessions or eternal treasures that shall never fade away. Better yet are you teaching your children how to battle or just cry whine and give up? They need you to be that spiritual guiding light and example of agape love forgiveness and unconditional love just like Christ. We rejoice along with you as you travail giving birth to this new life in Christ. He is able! Happy and holy holidays!! Be set apart and don't celebrate as this fallen world does. Transform your mind and get into His Word. God less you with truth and freedom this holiday season and new year ahead. It does get easier. I can speak that being a veteran seasoned Stander. This may hit you but they don't stick as much. Why because he's made me stronger and I have faith like a bulldog that will never give up on my marriage or family. I know that the Lord delivers and sets people free. He's no respect or of persons and if He dud it once before He shall do it again! Its not about me...its always been about Him. Stand strong again and look UP! Focus on Him and NOT on the storms around you. I hope you'll choose to dance instead of mourn! Take off those grave clothes. Be set apart and shine like the star you are!! He's got you and your family concerns in the palm if His mighty hand. Put those other people including your mate back on the mercy seat. What about Re-marriage to another persons Cov. mate? Gods Word says....

If you don't yet know the answers to these questions ahead without twisting or deleting His written Word I challenge you right now in this hour to find Biblical truth. Not mans logic or laws Gods. Not new versions like the NIV in which many people don't even realize what's been taken out. Why? Because people rely on mans perception and most don't dig deep enough nor do they wish to do so in repentance. Repentance means to completely turn and run away from such sin. Such as Proverbs 5. If you knew the truth that would set you free as well as other captives would you flee the ongoing sin you are currently in? Would you continue on knowing truth waiting to be judged come that sudden judgment day. Its not us as christians judging you. Its presenting the whole truth into the light where sin can be exposed. Not as the world sees it-as God sees it. He is faithful to provide all that you are in need so that you can take the way of escape that He will provide for you. He is calling you HOME to your first love-Jesus. He forgives you completely and wants for you to reconsile with those people whom you hurt the most with your selfishness and sin. He's expecting a complete turn around in this latter day. He plans to use YOU, yes YOU in a mighty way for this final season. You do your part and He will do His. His Word says that you are to reconsile back to the mate of your youth.(scripture) He states in His Word that you are NOT free to remarry unless your mate is no longer living. (Scripture) There is no escape clause church! His Word is clear on this subject and I will today post more on this subject in the days ahead.The New Testament clearly states that you are not free like you may have thought been taught or listened to others exiting your first marriage in which God honors as the only true covenant biblical union. If your mates have died that is a completely different situation. That clearly doesn't mean that you distort and kill off your first mate. Do you want to get right with the Lord? Do you want to get out of the enemies trappings? He's leading you to read this today on purpose. His purpose! The narrow path is the easy path. Perhaps even the relationship you are in has not been a cake walk from day one. Gods been speaking and you have been ignoring Him and fooling everyone around you up until now. The act is up. Its over and you have a way OUT of this pit of distruction and wilderness. What's yours is YOURS...what's theirs is theirs. You knew that going in. You had many gut feelings that it was wrong and you continued to listen to bad council. Perhaps even people who have gone and justified the same actions. You can only be responsible for YOU! If you are the Husband you are called to be the headship over your own family (and the wife of your youth). If you are the Wife you are called to be a jewel that is precious to your first husband. You were given to each other in front of God and witnesses until death do one of you do part. Mans ways are not Gods ways. Church we are in trouble and perilous times if we think wrong is right and right is wrong. He's going to bring judgment on the Church first. If you wish to turn and get right with Him for real today know in your heart that He's been waiting for this hour. Angels rejoice over your return back into rightful relationship. That won't happen without a Godly sorrow which leads us to sorrow. Its lasting life changing he artful repentance all for His glory. You will always be on Gods hook. He hasn't released you to move on. He's released you to go back to your own family asking for their forgiveness first in reconsiliaton (not ever a release from your first assignment nor first marriage). If you have a mate that's been Standing for their mate to return back to their mate of their youth consider yourself very blessed. That one flesh cov.mate from your first (only marriage) is a rare and humbled mate. You have been on your distructive journey learning valuable lessons to teach others not to go down that Proverbs leading to the grave ending. Your first love (and only marriage) mate of your youth has also been humbled and used to help free others. They have lived on pretty much nothing yet persevere on with their children struggling by their sides (in most cases). Why because its what the Lord has called them to do until completion and His great return. Like it or not...its time to get right and GO HOME! Rejoice always because in doing so you'll set others free in your pathway as well. It may not be easy but it will be worth breaking off the generational sin cycles. Please know that we are praying for you to ACT on this immediately no matter what the holiday or date. We pray that its sooner and not too late. God is no respect or of persons and others just like you have shown up on doorsteps as a "suddenly" bought a plane ticket or filled up the gas tank paced up belongings and simply headed home not ever turning back to where they never should have gone in the first place. What is adultery and when does it end? Does it end when a guilty pair partake in an event with each other? What happens to the marriage union in Gods eyes with the first marriage with those mates if they are married for life in the first union. What can break that one flesh 1st marriage union? Nothing its bound in heaven and on earth. Until death do you part. God took that first vow seriously did you? I hope that you will personally study yourself approved and flee from the situation that you are in or headed for thinking that its okay to follow wrong leaders. Gods simply been calling you HOME and this is just one more strong confirmation. Obey Him!!! Please don't choose to die in the wilderness in continued sin. We will be praying for you and other prodacals like you. Come HOME today without delay. We never know the day nor the hour. He wants you to wear that robe of righteousness and crown. Its been waiting for you. Run and catch up to what He would have you to do. I may never meet you here on this earth yet He knows the plans that He has for you. More than likely unless you see me at a speaking engagement in the near future I shall see you in Heaven. Amen God bless you!

Are you new to Standing? Are you a seasoned Stander still obeying & waiting?

I have to tell you that no matter if you are new to this thing called a Stand or are a seasoned veteran you should know how blessed you are today. Don't you dare give up and give into disobedience!! Much is stored up for you for your part & obedience. You simply do your part & He will be faithful to bring this to pass in completion. It is so very important that you stand because its bigger than you. Its about turning the tide breaking off generational curses & cycles. It will being a great deliverance to the entire of body of Christ. It will set many captives free which includes your mate of your youth and other family members. The key is that they must trust and one as well as come to the end of themselves. This all takes time and sometimes years. In our microwave society people want instant everything. Please know that God doesn't think like we do. His ways are always higher. Surrender it all at the foot of the cross and serve Him speaking in boldness and truth even if you think nobody is even listening. Think about Noah and him building an Ark. Talk about doubting Thomases huh? They are everywhere we turn. I pray beloved that you have the faith to dig those heels in until you see your miracle come to pass. I pray that you also remain single and obey scripture. I hear and council so many people that have simply given up & given into the worlds ways and no longer Gods ways according to his written word. They simply don't think this stand is for them. They don't want to be alone etc... I've heard it all. It all boils down to lusts of the flesh. If you have fallen from your stand and your mate of your youth does nothing but causes you trouble & heartache then stop and praise the Lord. He is making you stronger to learn to win them without a word. What your mate is actually doing is rebelling from God. They aren't running from you they are running from them. If they are with another person (perhaps even have done the unmentionable remarriage) Don't think that its all over. God is still with you and takes that Cov. Marriage vow before Him & witnesses seriously until death do one of YOU part. Which means until death of a living partner not a marriage. This is a spiritual battle which seems like a physical battle. God knows and sees your heart. If you have a hard heart towards that mate you need to right now repent for your hardness of heart and bitterness. No you can't make someone obey God. You can't make someone live you. But God!!!! He can touch you and your mate right where you are at given any moment in time. Its hard to trust and its hard to love the unlovable and yet we can clearly see that's what God expects of us. He wants us to walk in unconditional love & forgiveness. We are the vessels He's using in this latter hour to bring these prodicals home to Him first. Your job as a Stander is to pray & fast. Look to God and His Word for answers. Its part of your walk right now. Get those scriptures & promises back down in your spirit man. If you are a new believer than learn all you can at a deeper level. Don't be swayed by mans laws and religious ways. Study yourself approved. If there is an area of improvement that you need to make in yourself during this time than do it! A word of Caution here would be not to try to prove yourself or your stand to your mate. That's the last thing you need to be doing. Who wants to hang with a know it all all puffed up and hautey. Its not even about you or the duration of time that it takes for their return back to the family and you. The only thing that's going to matter is what you do during your stand for Christ during this duration of time. Again here....serving the Lord no matter what the outcome. Your first love should be the Lord anyways and not your mate of your youth. Everyone wants the miracle of their mate of their youth coming home and yet they don't think that they have what it takes to believe, stand and wait for the turn around. Were you not called to obey scripture? It clearly states that you must reconsile as well not remarry. If you have...its time for YOU to obey & go back to your first love as well. Its repentance time and God will indeed be the judge and jury. How will you be found today? Guilty or not guilty. Those feelings you feel can be masked yet you know deep down the Lords been dealing with you to flee from the sin you are currently in. Once you set your foot towards the door to make things right again imagine not the distruction of the relationship you were once in. Imagine being set free on the right pathway that is narrow again. Don't be one of those who follow the masses on that wide road. In the end its not the wide its the narrow and more costly one because you did it all for the glory of God. You will only see it when you obey. Stop the delays in this hour and be what He called you to be. It was never suppose to be the easy sin of fleshly desires. You know it and feel always anxious and unsatisfied. God is the only thing that can ever satisfy. Its time to run that race as a leader once again! Amen. Fear not! God is with you & for you. Run! God bless you and multiply what you need in doing what's set before you. Our ministry team is praying for you 24/7 around the clock someone is up. Our God can do anything on a dime & an instant if He chooses. However many yet to see the process of the journey that they are on in this latter hour.

I have to tell you guys that it was for older standers who are seasoned & new standers. I know holidays are SO difficult for many of you. I will post again tomorrow. This is not the time to give in nor give up! What we do for Christ in this latter hour is the only thing that's going to matter. Bless as many people as you can these next few months. You are blessed!!! Forgive and repent for your part and distruction of your 1st marriage. Its time to turn some hardened unforgiving bitter hearts back over to the Lord completely no matter what has happened. If you are in adultery in this hour and/or married the other person who you were in adultery with distorting your view. Its time man or woman of God to GO HOME! Its not my Word its His. He's been waiting for your obedience instead of your ongoing justification walking away from His truths into the enemies camp filled with more and more lies. Make this holiday season the best ever for your family & do a suddenly going back to your family & wife or husband of your youth. Many are watching your walk in obedience or disobedience. Leaders do what the Lord commands & is against. And one of them is making people think that the marriage institution is a temp situation. Gods design is for that 1st marriage to be holy and being of one wife (or husband).Quit agreeing with the world and most churches of today who are in bed (in adultery). Its time for boldness in the spirit to turn the tide of these nations against the enemies agenda of the enemy. He does not win our 1st Cov. Marriages nor our families! Fight for what is right again! God gave you your own family not that of another mans wife or husband. They too we pray will wake up from the Proverbs Trail to the pit. Its not about us. Its all about the pure bride of Christ. Get the wrinkles out and stop pretending you are without spots. Your robe awaits you. Gods not done with you. Obey Him and let Him open & shut those needs doors. I pray you all have the best holiday season ever! May your focus be on the Lord in his hour. Much is happening in this hour. I hope you'll dance & rejoice in knowing what hour we are currently in. Go HOME!! Repent!! Forgive!! They love you and everything will be okay. It may not be easy yet it will be worth it. Amen Praying for each and everyone of you today.

If I knew THEN what I know NOW! Moms this one is for YOU!!

It has been my mission all along to help others like us on this journey. Many of you already know that. You have read much of my journey along the way over the years. Its not LOVE...Its LUST!

I saw this today as I was updating our Blog! I will be posting more when I can today & through this holiday weekend. I know for a fact that the month of November/December are so hard for many of you since if you share custody...more than likely this is somebody's month. Not always...some don't get to see their kids at all. When we surrender to mans law instead of God's laws that is what happens. Many of us by no choice of ours had to surrender to this position for our marriages, families and kids. The enemy doesn't ever fight fair so don't ever expect him to do so. When he goes after that 1st Cov marriage he pretty much goes for the jugular. Marriage and families are the backbone of America (any country for that matter). It throws most families into turmoil and destruction pretty quickly... It reduces the parent who was not prepared for such an event into such a deep level of pain that sometimes it is hard to recover in a tail spin.. But that is where our God steps in! You kids need to see the strongest you possible through this process. That doesn't mean not getting real with them. It means protecting their hearts from more pain and making them think either Mom or Dad has it all together. Because when it comes down to it...its just smoke and mirror. The parent who "Moved On" in wrong council may has found someone but it was to fill that empty void of needing someone to make them feel that they are okay. They want to make their 1st mate look as horrible as possible so that they can prove themselves worthy of doing right. It is nothing but another ploy of the enemy. If that other mate knew what a wonderful person you really were(most of the time..nobody's perfect)...that OW or OM would surely wonder what they were leaving their family and every content that they have for meaningless lust & fill in sex void (lets get real here its NOT LOVE). Many are going after possessions and belongings to take a fast track to reach perhaps the top of the ladder. Anything that is not built on the foundation of God's design will FAIL! Its just a matter of time. They can bail out the water from the titanic as much as they want...they can keep up appearances that everything is OK. But the fact of the matter is they have the same problems if not worse in the other relationship...its just a matter of time before they come to the surface...WHY? Because neither person has ever really changed. If they did change they would have worked it out in their 1st marriage They don't have to strive to make changes in their opinion because they are thinking that they have it all together. Keep this in mind that ONLY Fools rush in...a 1st marriage was custom designed by the Lord to last a lifetime. Look for those mentors who have stuck it OUT!!! Quit going to the broken church and leadership that is in wrong position thinking because these people are in another marriage...they have the go ahead an secrets to a successful marriage. It is nothing but completely lies from the enemy! I am not saying that God cant use YOU!! He CAN! You have gone through the brokenness and pain and have allowed the Lord to mold and fix you. You looked to the Lord to fix the fix and not the world. He hears your hearts desire and has GREAT plans for you ahead. You do your part and repent for your part as you WAIT upon the Lord for completion. As much as it hurts right now...BE ENCOURAGED! Don't go the wrong way now and go the same path as another...the Church will be held accountable. Have no blood on your hands! Help turn this tide around to BREAK OFF the generational sin cycles OR see the same pattern repeated in your childrens lives. The sins of the fathers are passed down. If you know scripture...you will see how the enemy goes after our SEED! That would be your children!!! Or your children to come. Nobody is immune. What we do for Christ is what matters...everything else will be burned away! The Lord is coming back for a Bride without SPOT nor WRINKLE!!! So are you going to be the iron in the fire? Or just another Wrinkle? Be a SPOT REMOVED!!! AMEN! Praying for many in this hour to get right and STAY right.....

Restoration & Reconciliation during the process of Renewal God determines the times and seasons

This is our Ministry's Mission ONE! A bit more of an explanation here for those who need a better understanding of what the Lord requires of us in any relationship. Restoration, this is the word used to portray God’s desire to return our souls to their original design and proper function. In the context of the ministry, our work involves working alongside the Holy Spirit in restoring an individual’s soul to a healthier place or condition, where life can be lived more fully in right relationship with God and others. He is a God who desires that our souls are restored, and that we walk in right living with Him and others. He does His work of restoration in a person’s life as proof of His ever-loving character to us. All we can do is to join Him in this work. Renewal, another word used to portray a desire of God. In another prayerful Psalm of David, God speaks to us about renewal. The Holy Spirit is in us and also works within us to renew us by cleaning our hearts while transforming our minds. Replacing our false beliefs and erroneous attitudes within the heart, with godly beliefs and attitudes, cleans the heart. Renewal, another word used to portray a desire of God. Many times it is a hard process but the Lord is there with us always. PHILIPPIANS 3:10-11 " I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. " I PETER 4:12-13 " Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed." PHILIPPIANS 1:29 " For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him,". Reconciliation, this is third word we use it to describe a desire that God has for us. There are two major aspects of reconciliation to consider, an individual’s reconciliation with God, and with others. God is reminding us that He has done everything necessary to reconcile us to Him, we have become “new creatures”; Christians. his means that as we minister to others, we must be able to address the relationship of a person being served with God. If a person is an unbeliever, we must do some work with them pointing them to Jesus. If they are a believer, we may have to work at strengthening the believer’s faith in God and all that His reconciliation means to them. The second aspect of reconciliation is that of person-to-person relationships. Jesus addressed this in Matt 5:23-24 Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering. Jesus places reconciliation between people in a very important position. He basically tells us that before we come to worship God, and when we remember that we have an issue with someone, we must address that issue first. 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9-10 " But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." Jesus considered reconciliation as so important that He gave Himself up for it, and He asks us to do the same. As we minister to others we must be able to address any needs for reconciliation that the Holy Spirit prompts in those we serve. We are to always be mindful of relationships of those we serve to others in their lives. We have to do this in our ministry as well. When we do counseling many times there very well could be barriers to their personal progress to wholeness because of issues of a relational nature. Jesus counted this as so important that He told us to deal with them before we worshiped Him. Jesus considered reconciliation as so important that He gave Himself up for it, and He asks us to do the same. As we minister to others we must be able to address any needs for reconciliation that the Holy Spirit prompts in those we serve. We work alongside and under the direction of the Holy Spirit to perform God’s work of restoration, renewal and reconciliation in the lives of the broken-hearted. 2 CORINTHIANS 2:14-15 " But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. Psalm 147:3 " He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. " Psalm 34:18 "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." The Lord is close to those who are broken hearted and crushed in their spirit. There are many experiences in life that can break our hearts such as disappointments, deaths , hurts , failures ,missed opportunities, loss etc. At such times we may be lonely and feel forsaken by others. But the wonderful promise is that the Lord is close to us at such times. Psalm 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. " The Lord heals our broken hearts and wants us to minister to others who are going through the same experience in their lives. Whenever we go through an experience of brokenness in our lives , we are in an unique position to be used by the Lord to minister healing and restoration to the broken hearted . Psalm 23:3 - He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. We must allow the Lord to heal our wounds and then we can use that healing experience to reach out to others and enable them to experience the same healing in their lives. Instead of mourning over our heart breaking experiences , we must see the possibility of using them to become a channel of healing to others. Psalm 51:10 – Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. John 12:24 " I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. " It is God who desires that our souls are restored, and that we walk in right living with Him and others. He does His work of restoration in a person’s life as proof of His ever-loving character to us. The best thing that we can do is to join Him in this daily work. Rom 12:2 – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. I Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." The Lord is seated on the throne of Grace with a heart of compassion towards us because He can sympathize with all our weaknesses. We can always approach Him confidently in our many times of brokenness because He understands us and sympathizes with our weaknesses and He is ready to shower His grace and mercy upon us. Hebrews 4:15-16 " For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. "

Lord give me your eyes for just one second. How doe we become born again to enter His kingdom?

Many people don't understand how simple it is to be saved. According to John 3:16 The Word of God makes it plain, simple & clear. Or is there more too it? So what does it mean when the Bible says that we must be born again? What if I think that I've fallen too far and God won't pick me up again? How do I pick up the pieces from a shattered past and turn around my life for Him? How do I ask for His forgiveness and what is repentance? What if I can't forgive myself or others don't want to forgive me? What should I do according to scripture? All these questions can be answered as to who enters the Kingdom and what you need to do on a personal level to be free from bondage of captivating sin. Why are so many churches agreeing with sin & adultery even in Leadership? I will address these any many more questions that you may have in the hours to come. I personally pray that if you are in error today that you ask Him in prayer to forgive you. I pray that you come to a Godly sorrow in repentance as to how you not only hurt and greeved the heart of God with your actions but also those perhaps closest to you. I pray that you will take the needed steps to ask them for forgiveness as well. The time is NOW as the hour draws closer to His return daily. Nobody knows the day nor the hour. Let Him completely transform your hardened wayward heart towards your first love again. May it be an agape love that can never be quenched again. May you be lead by the Holy Spirit to continue praying and seeking Him in truth. May you know that even pastors & leaders can give wrong council and hurt people. If they told people that remarriage is wrong if you have a living mate realize that all those people giving & serving would stop doing so and they would have no church. Many have fallen away because of great grief in the church. They will be held accountable at a greater level. Nothing I say is against God church as to how He intended it to be and that is pure without spot nor wrinkle. He wants people on fire for Him again speaking truth to set the captives yes in the church free again. There's been to much worldly compromise where christians look more like the world than Christ. We all need to be on bended knee again...its not just for some..its for ALL! I invite you to take a deeper walk with thee and dive in deep. Have a personal relationship which means taking responsibility for your own soul. May you be on fire for Him like never before. Anything you do for Him will be the only thing that has lasting value anyway. Its not about anything but Him and advancing His kingdom in love and truth. We've got once chance right now to get things right with Him. He wants us all as one body in this hour but in rightstanding. May you give & sell everything to the poor orphaned and widdowed. Read how you must be born again & see or ask how YOU can help this mission move forward. Its up to you!! May this year be the year of open eyes & may you see things in a different light all for His glory. May He I've you His eyes for just one second. God bless you!

Did you know that God desires to see us live a long good life? Many today believe that when a person dies, it was God's timing for them to die and that the fullness of their days have been lived out according to God's will. However, according to the Bible, God's will isn't always manifested here on earth as God desires it, and there is no guarantee that we will live out the fullness of our days. The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. Proverbs 10:27 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. Proverbs 9:10-11 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Proverbs 3:1-2 And Yes, we can die before our time! Let me ask you this, when a person has an abortion, is that God's appointed time for that baby to die? When somebody commits suicide, is that God's appointed time for them to die? When somebody gets drunk, and kills an entire family, was that God's appointed time for them to die? Is it Biblical to "die before your time"? Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time? Amos 9:10 In the NT, we learn that there are many people who get sick and die before their time, because of unworthily partaking in communion: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep [or have died]. 1 Corinthians 11:24-30 God's Word tells us that MANY have fallen into this trap. If many back then fell into it, what percentage of today's sicknesses and deaths also fall into this category? Can a person's sin and disobedience to God shorten their life? Yes! Untimely death is listed under the curses that we find in Deuteronomy 28: The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.... Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God. Deuteronomy 28:21,61-62 I have never seen God's Word speak of Him using sickness or disease to call a righteous person home, but we do see just the opposite unfold in the above scripture, where sickness unto death is a curse. What is God's desire for those who fear Him and walk in His ways? A long and good life! Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Ephesians 6:2-3 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalms 91:16 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Proverbs 3:13-16 I also believe that eating habits and exercise will also affect our body's ability to live a long and healthy life. The verse above speaks of wisdom lengthening our days, and I believe one area of our lives that we are supposed to exercise wisdom is in taking proper care of our bodies. In Jeremiah, we find a passage which tells us that God has good plans for us, and wants to give us an expected end. An expected end is nothing less than a long good life. Dying of cancer, or in a car accident, is not an expected end, it is rather an unexpected end. This is not God's will for us, according to this passage in Jeremiah: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Psalms 34:12-14 The above passage asks, "Who wants to live a long good life?" Then it goes on to tell us to keep our tongues from speaking evil, and to depart from evil. Lot's wife is a good example of somebody in the Bible who who died due to disobedience; she never lived out the fullness of her days. It was not God's will for her to die at that time, but her death was the result of her disobedience towards God. Another source of pre-mature death is a result of Satan's work of killing, stealing, and destroying that Jesus spoke of in John 10:10, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy..." When somebody is killed, it refers to the taking of a life prematurely (otherwise, murder would be justified in God's eyes, would it not?). God does not use Satan to kill His children, as a means to keep them from living beyond their appointed time. Jesus made it very clear who was behind the killing, and who had came to give life. By stating that every murder came at God's appointed time for that person to die, is to equate Jesus with the killing side of the equation of John 10:10. It is saying that God uses Satan's work in our lives to bring about His will, timing, and plans for us. If this were true of murder, then the same could be said of rape, stealing, etc. Suddenly, we find ourselves in a mindset that everything which happens here on earth is the will of God, which couldn't be further from the truth. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. Deuteronomy 5:33 There is one passage in scripture (see Job 7:1, 14:5, 14) that is used to support the concept that the days of our lives are appointed in such a way that we are not capable of dying before the fullness of our days have been lived out. However, when Job said that the days of our life are appointed, he also said other things during his foolish rant with God that I believe were merely Job's human understanding, and not divine revelation from the Holy Spirit. For example, in Job 6:4, he was basically saying that God's poisonous arrows and the terrors of the Almighty was upon him, when that was simply not the case at all. There were things Job said which were mere human wisdom being spoke of in a time of desperation and lack of understanding. To say that we cannot die before our appointed time, is saying that God uses murder, abortion, suicide, sicknesses resulting in death, demonic killings, unhealthy care of our bodies, drunkeness (resulting in deadly car accidents), and so forth, to fulfill His purposes in a person's life. It is saying, for example, that God appointed Billy to die on the day that he committed suicide or got drunk and drove into a phone pole. It is claiming that God appointed Billy to die at that time and that God's "good plans and expected end" for Billy was for him to commit suicide. Just because God wills something, does not mean it always happens. He desires all to be saved, and that none shall perish, and Jesus made all the provisions for all to be saved, but are all saved? No, not at all. God also wills that we live long good lives, but just because that is His desire, does not mean that it will always come to past. "But God used Lazarus' sickness unto death for God's glory!" Study and see the story for yourself. Please research how cancer is being demonically rooted, because the medical community is clueless as to what the root cause really is. Let me ask you this: if Jesus told us that Satan came to kill, how does Satan go about doing that? Think about this, we don't see demons with clubs beating people to death, but we do see people dying like flies from cancer. Does God use Satan to kill people as His way of "calling them home"? I believe that Jesus was telling us in John 10:10 that Satan's intent to kill refers to taking a life pre-maturely. Abortion is another one of Satan's ways of pre-maturely taking a person's life. Would we dare say that God was using that to call His children home? We wouldn't think of it! God's Word tells us that He has plans for us, plans to give us a hope and a future, and an expected end (see Jeremiah 29:11). Cancer is not an expected end. Abortion is not an expected end. An expected end is when a person has lived out the fullness of their days that God has given them to live. Are the good plans spoken of in Jeremiah 29:11 coming to past in everybody's life? Then what makes us think that the expected end part of that passage naturally comes true in everybody's life? It doesn't! Those are PLANS that God has for us, but just like the plan of salvation, we must play a vital part in seeing those plans fulfilled in our lives. Satan, of course, has plans to end our lives prematurely. Jesus told us in John 10:10 that the thief came to kill, steal, and destroy. How about being killed for His sake? Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Matthew 24:9 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. John 15:20 Why does God allow us to be persecuted and even killed for His sake? Because He wants to reach the lost, and in order to do that, we're going to be persecuted. He already has our souls, so the moment we die, we are with him anyways. He wants to reach out in love to those who don't have Him as their Lord. Remember and re read John 3:16! I hope this gave you a clearer picture of the Big Picture and that you will read for yourself and find the answers to the questions you still have. God Bless your deeoer walk with the Lord. Seek His oeace and understandng. He loves you more that you could ever know. You were made perfectly by His design and so is your marriage. Every detail in your life He already knows about as He goes before you. Keep seeking and praying for the lost hurting abd brokenhearted. There are many even in church (some may even hide it very well due to fear or judgement). May they all be saved before He returns again soon. Are you ready? Ask for forgiveness and get right with the Lord today. Go back to where you once began with your wife or husband 0f your youth as well as your own God given family. They are waiting patiently for your return. The angels will be rejoicing un advance today on your behalf. Do not delay another moment and be the most couragious ever. Be unstoppable evem! Forgive me if there are typos...its been a long day. Study yourself approved daily. Time is short. Your sins are forgiven: If you aren't sure your sins are forgiven, you will be experiencing guilt, and a feeling of unworthiness to live in victory. The enemy moves right in on this weakness and fault in your belief system, and uses it against you. Guilt gives the enemy room to move in and make you feel worthless, and therefore he keeps you fighting from a defeated position. You must know that your sins are forgiven so the enemy won't hang guilt over your head! Look at Luke 7:47, where Jesus forgave that woman who lived a very sinful life, with no strings attached! Also look at other stories where Jesus said "Your sins are forgiven" with no strings attached. And Paul is another great example of how he was moved from a sinful lifestyle right into the kingdom of God without any strings or conditions attached! In His Service meeting with an awesome man of God!

I had an awesome pleasure tonight meeting a mighty man after Gods own heart. While standing in line for about 45 mins. I got to meet some awesome christians. One couple who have been married 42 years this past July!! What an awesome God wink! I am very careful with who I watch on christian programming now more than ever. Honestly I can say that Dr. Stanley is the real deal. He is so warm & loving. I'm thankful for the time he took with posing for pictures, listening to me about my stand and signing my book. He has stood against the tide and faithfully prays for our country. I wish that there were more men of God like him in his hour. May the Lord continue to bless him & give him great health all the days of his life for his obedience & faithfulness. Three Stages of Bondage Stage One: Ignorance, strong holds and deception Stage Two: Legal rights are involved Unforgiveness Unconfessed sin Unholy soul ties Cursed objects Deuteronomy 7:26, "Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing." Cursed objects such as idols, occult books, rings, etc. can bring a curse upon your life and your home. Land can also be cursed as a result of the sins of it's inhabitants (Leviticus 18:27). It is Biblical to burn occult or cursed objects. Deuteronomy 7:25, "The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire... for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God." It's also evident in the NT as well, Acts 19:19, "Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men..." Ezekiel 20:7, "Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God." Unholy vows: James 5:2, "But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation." Any unholy vows you have made need to be repented of (Leviticus 5:4-6), and renounced (taken back) and broken in the name of Jesus. Spoken curses Your words have the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), and if you have said something that has bound your soul (such as declaring, "I'll never amount to anything" or "I want to die"), then you should repent of it and take it back (renounce it out loud). Matthew 12:37, "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Generational curses: The sins of your ancestors can also attribute to your spiritual bondages and troubles (Exodus 20:5). The remedy to break this, is to repent on behalf of your ancestors for their sins (Nehemiah 9:2), and to break any curses (in the name of Jesus) that may have come upon you as a result of their actions. Seductions Exposed by Gary L., Dr. Greenwald is a great book on the transferring of spirits and soul ties. How to Cast out Demons by Doris Wagner is a great book at uncovering the legal roots of your spiritual problems and casting out demons. Breaking Generational Curses & Pulling Down Strongholds by Vito Rallo is another really good book to get ahold of. The Bait of Satan by John Bevere will show you the dangers of unforgiveness in the spiritual realm. There are many many more to select from. Try Amazon for a book list. Many books you can even get gently used or used at great prices. Study yourself approved quickly as the day is approaching more quickly. Stage Three: Demons must be driven out! Even after a demon's legal grounds have been removed, they often do not leave on their own. Some of the lesser demons may, but it's not that common for a stronger demon to pack up and leave on it's own. This is why Jesus made it clear that there is a need for the deliverance ministry (Mark 16:17). If demons automatically left a person when they accepted Jesus, then why did Jesus tell us to cast out demons? The solution to demonic bondages would instead be just to accept Jesus and the demons automatically leave. The problem is, it doesn't work like that in real life, and that's why we there are times when it's necessary to drive out demons. Jesus referred to the casting out of demons as children's bread, which means it's not even for un-believers, but for us believers. Prayer and fasting: Some demons are so strong that not only is it necessary to cast them out, but a higher then usual level of faith, which is only obtained through prayer and fasting, is required when getting them out. After the disciples tried to cast out a stronger demon(s) and were unsuccessful, Jesus told them that there are some demons that will come out by nothing by prayer and fasting (which builds one's faith to the high levels that is required when casting some demons out). Mark 9:29, "And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting." Understand your authority: As children of God, we are given authority over all powers of the enemy. Binding and loosing: Binding is like spiritual handcuffing. It's temporary and it's very useful when a demon starts manifesting and you aren't ready to actually cast it out (let's say you are winding down a deliverance session and you need your sleep, and the demon(s) begin to manifest and raise their ugly heads). Or perhaps, the demon is interfering with the deliverance and it needs to be bound. Another good use of binding, is to bind the evil spirits that are preventing a person from accepting Jesus. Loosing is when a captive is loosed from something. For example, in Luke 13:12, Jesus loosed the women who was bound by Satan and had the issue of blood for 18 years. Know your enemy and study all you can. Be sure that you are prayed up! Identifying the demon by it's name when dealing with demons, which is why it is so helpful to know their name when dealing with them. Casting it out: Contrary to what many may think, there's nothing magical about this step. It's a matter of standing on your authority and commanding the evil spirit (by name if possible) to leave in the name of Jesus. Demon groupings: Often, demons will group, and there will be a strong man. The strong man could be hate, while the lesser demons could consist of anger, bitterness, jealousy, envy, etc. Sometimes it is better to cast out the strong man first, and therefore the lesser demons give you little or no hassle in wanting to leave, while other times it is better to get rid of the lesser demons first, and therefore the leader can no longer draw power from them and it makes it easier for the leader to be cast out. This is a more complicated area of deliverance, and is best led by the Holy Spirit. Always pray and ask for the Holy Spirit's guidance whenever attempting a deliverance. So much power is being lost because His people are not even hungry nor even knowing what any of this is about. Most are at about 3rd grade level. Those who are mature are serving and burned out because others simply remain powerless in the pews. They want the spoon feedings from the leadership (many who have fallen) and Pastors who are tired and weary. There is fire in the pews when people repent and turn away fleeing from all sin. Knowing what you know now I pray that you will dig deeper to go higher and not take your God given blessings for granted any longer. I pray that you will pray and be so hungry for truth and rightousness that when it comes to a pagan holiday you shall not partake. Instead you will flee in pray in a secret place that the Lord shall have your heart and speak to you with the volume turned up instead of turned off. If you know that your church is doing things in error do NOT partake but flee! He will hold everyone accountable which includes you. Question is what are you partaking that may be unholy and how long will you not SEE clearly? God wants you to see through his eyes and to be clean without spot nor wrinkle. He doesnt expect you to be perfect however he will keep you accountable come judgement day. So may today be your flee from sin day. All sin that you know about and may He show you the others that you need delverance from in this time and season. Amen

I always pray a wall of fire around my family almost daily to protect them from the evil one. I also pray that my Lord will open my family's spiritual eyes to see the power of God in their own lives. Do you? Will you from this point on? Ask the Lord and see what He wants to show you about your marriage! We pray right now in agreement that You will open their cov. spouse of their youth. That they no longer will call them a prodigal. May that wayward mate have new eyes to see the truth that will set them free from being a slave to their sinful lifestyle and help them to stop listening to the lies from the enemy. Even if they are in a non cov. union with another person. Lord you can send them HOME now in the name of Jesus because it is your will for these families to be reuited and stronger than ever before in Jesus mighty name. We also know that nothing is too hard for You Lord and this is just one more thing that you will do. Lord, help this new or old cov. stander to never give up and for them to continue to keep their eyes on You. May they never look to another stranger and not sway or settle for less that your best! May they only settle for a remarriage or re-vow to their 1st and only cov. mate that was bonded for life according to your image for marriage. Lord your are their first love and we can only take second place in thier life again. Lord strengthen them and not have them focus on their circumstances in this latter hour. Let them only know that everything is subject to your change with suddenlies and miracles. Lord, you are no respector of persons so please increase their faith, hope and trust in You daily or hourly if needed. Let them see your hand in this hour like never before and all for your glory and never their own. May they walk humbly before you and may they never bost nor brag that they ever did their own restorations. May they get their hands out of the mix and let the Holy Spirit do His work on both sides (in them and in the other person at the same time). And Lord if their is another person in their lives at this time please carelfully and gently remove them back to their 1st love or may they remain unmarried until your return. May we all repent of wrong doing and continue on doing your will and nver our own fleshly desires. May these mates and the people that they are involved with including their children and our children be saved and set apart. May the enemy never have another grip on our marriages nor our children nor our future. No weapon formed against us shall ever proper. May these other people go quietly without any trouble and seek a worldy divorce from the bonded in the 1st marriages mate. May they have the courage along with a deeper understanding that they may belong in your family now (after repentance, a Godly sorrow with personal salvation). But the conviction that they feel right now even after reading this (if they feel sick to their stomachs need a deep deliverance into your truth and your word again). May they never wish to blot out any scriptures in your Word again desiring to walk upright with you again Lord. Lord please let them know that they are loved by you and yet that you do not honor the sin that they are continue in. That you call adultery just that adultry and your word does not ever change. It is scriptual as you created man for one woman and one man for life and we call all of this that is pleasing to your will In the mighty name. May they read and underdtand the deliverance scripture postings and set not only themselves free but others as well until your return. In Jesus name we do pray Amen."

New Eyes To See Once I was Blind but now I can SEE! How our God sees us.

I will let you all look these scriptures up. Its good to be in the Word daily so the Lord can minister to you directley. You will grow leaps and bounds. Do a reverses seach to match up and study scripture. Iron sharpens iron. New Eyes

I am writing this tonight with only moments to spare before the midnight hour. Today my Cov Husband of my youth had eye corrective surgery. As I was heading for bed after a long day. I was pressed upon the Words NEW EYES to SEE! It was what I have been praying about since I had found out that he need this surgery. I know that he has like others including myself put off eye doctors and wearing glasses. Well sooner or later it catches up with us. We can only put it off for so long. The funny thing is...it ties in with me Blog page title tonight. So I can only PRAY that not only the Lord has heard our many prayers for him but also that He has answered more prayers. We are execting a complete turn around for Gods glory. God said it so that settles it! It is done!!! So please enjoy these next few postings and I can only pray that it encourages you to stand a bit stronger until you too see the manaifestaion of your miracles for your cov. marriage of your youth. Only He gets the glory! Amen God bless each and every one of you as you read and pray for your mate or someone else you know who needs New eyes in this hour. Dont EVER GIVE UP!! Amen Just BELIEVE and TRUST AGAIN at a deeper level! New Eyes by Ed Chinn Obviously, there are many levels and dimensions of sight. For example, my cat will lie in my lap when I am reading. He sees the black marks on the white page, but he doesn't see what I see. I may step into the cockpit of a 747, but I would have no greater understanding of the vast electronic panels than my cat has of the written page. "What do you see?" is one of the life's most important questions. The actual physiology of sight – light passing through the cornea, pupil and lens and then striking the retina – is only a small part of how we see. We cannot interpret the light and patterns of our environment without the symphony of all our faculties. Everything we see passes through the filters of our life experiences, emotional and physical health, beliefs, fears, yearnings, education, special training and attitudes. That is why various people can look at anything – a computer chip, an explosion or a baby sonogram – and have vastly different interpretations of what they see. Was Blind, but Now I See John Newton's timeless hymn, "Amazing Grace," contains one of the greatest and most famous lyrical lines in history: "was blind, but now I see." Those six simple words describe the mysterious transforming power of God's revealed truth. That is what happens when God's revelation brings a new way of seeing. By comparison, we can only honestly say "I was blind." That "blindness to sight" process might arrive through illness, injury, grief or even exterior phenomena – like being struck by lightning or taking a bullet in the brain. Whatever the catalyst, from that moment on people see life differently. It is like finding "Superman" eyes; they can see right through various distractions or issues and bore into truth which remains hidden to others. I recently endured my own was-blind-but now-I-see experience. When it was over, I saw my wife through new eyes. God's "eye surgery" lasted about two hours in the pre-dawn darkness of March 6, 2008. After my wife Joanne's long and very serious illness, I became certain that she was dying. Based on what I knew, I became convinced that she was slipping into the last stages of organ failure. Because of my certainty of her imminent death – which, thank God, was an illusion – the way I viewed her passed through a radical transformation. And, the way I viewed myself experienced even greater change; I saw clearly how I had failed to cherish, support, and nurture her as God intended. Although we have a wonderful marriage, God pulled me up to a much higher standard of maleness, fatherhood and "husbandry" – His! Obviously, I had to repent. The Higher View God's eye surgery not only changed the way I see and relate to my wife, but it also raised another "what do you see" issue: Why can we not see people as they really are before they die? Our view of the living – friends, family, neighbors, and even public figures – always seems to be a mixed bag of thoughts and judgments. But, the moment they die, our view of them – as revealed in funerals – becomes profoundly gracious and much higher. So, is it possible to ascend to that higher view before they die? Perhaps the larger question is how do we find the higher view – or "new eyes" – on life in general? In Isaiah 55:9, God said, "as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways…" Very often, what we see is a matter of elevation. When we get tangled in the underbrush of deep valleys we end up feeling threatened or overwhelmed by very small issues. I am always amazed at how different everything looks simply by climbing to higher ground – physically, spiritually, relationally, emotionally and in many other ways. And, that is true regardless of the specific issues. For example, many Christians feel threatened by political and social issues. Of course, we should be civic-minded, responsible and prayerful. But, we should always approach the public arena from a victorious position, not a fearful or despairing one. After all, the ultimate outcome is not tentative or fragile. In fact, the Psalmist said that God sits in the heavens, "laughing" at the futile strategies against Him and His people! (Psalms 2: 1 – 4) Part of the reason He laughs is that He is sitting in a high and unassailable place. And, He invites us to sit there with Him. In the series which follows, we will examine together some of the crucial areas and challenges of life. We will look at things like our own familial relationships – spouses, parents, children, siblings, co-workers and neighbors. We will examine ways to view our own heritage – even the uncle who was a horse thief – in a more positive way. And, yes, we will look at how to victoriously navigate the political and social issues of our time. When we're finished, you may not be able to see oil underground, but perhaps you will see the buried treasure lying just below the surface of your life. Copyright 2008 Ed Chinn. Used with permission.
