Tapping Into God's Power and Jehovah-Jireh God WILL Provide

Tapping Into God's Power and Jehovah-Jireh - God will provide
Tapping Into God's Power
by Gary Carpenter
One of the questions I am most frequently asked is, "Gary, really, how do I

tap into the power of God?" Many of these people come with desperate
situations already upon them. Everything from having just been diagnosed
with a
terminal disease, to imminent divorce, to imminent bankruptcy, some of them
even
contemplating suicide. This is a serious question and I never take it
lightly.
Oftentimes, however, when I give them the true answer to their question, it

sounds so "simplistic" to them that they become offended like Naaman the
Syrian. Remember him? He was a powerful military leader who had leprosy. He
came
to the prophet in Israel expecting to receive some "great word" from the
prophet. The prophet simply told him to go dip seven times in the Jordan
River.
Naaman became so offended by this "simplistic" instruction that he nearly
returned to Syria without obeying the word of the Lord. Had he done so he
most
certainly would have died a leper. Thank God he obeyed and received his
miracle
and was healed.
Most people that ask me the question "How do I tap into the power of God?"
reject the answer by NEVER ACTUALLY DOING IT! All those that do it receive
their miracle. All of those that do not do it forsake their miracle. It is
as
simple as that. Period!
What is the answer to their question? It can be found in the following
verses:
Isa 55:10-11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and
returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth
and
bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall
my
word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void,
but
it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing
whereto I sent it.
There is only one way to "return God's Word unto Him" and that is by
CONFESSING IT AS BEING PRESENT TENSE TRUTH IN YOUR LIFE! This is the faith
of our
father Abraham. He had to begin calling himself the father of many nations
(Calling those things which be not as though they were) long before his son
Isaac
was ever conceived in the womb of Sarah. There simply is no separating the
power of the Holy Spirit from the spoken Word of God! Get this; the Lord
said
to me, "The Holy Spirit will not manifest the unspoken word of God for
anybody...not even God the Father! The Holy Spirit would still be brooding
over the
face of the waters today waiting for the SPOKEN Words 'Let there be
light!'"
Jesus called the Holy Spirit the "finger of God" after He had cast out a
devil. The Holy Spirit is the "MANIFESTER!" If people could just get a
revelation that He only manifests the SPOKEN WORD of God, to the point that
they would
actually begin SPEAKING the Word of God, they would soon find that they had

finally tapped into the POWER of God!
It was as Abraham confessed the "promise" that the Holy Spirit began
changing Abraham and Sarah's bodies at the molecular level, causing
sufficient
change that Sarah actually began ovulating again (she was long past
menopause) and
causing sufficient change in Abraham that he became virile again. But if
Abraham had not been obedient to "speak the promise" as if it were already
so in
his life ("I am the father of many nations") the Holy Spirit would NEVER
have manifested those changes ... God's will or not! The number one way
that the
Holy Spirit works in the earth is ...He manifests the SPOKEN Word!
So, no matter what problems people come to me with: health, marital,
financial, children, etc., etc., my counsel to them is always the same:
"Find two or
three promises from the Word of God that cover your case. Begin worshipping

God for these promises and begin saying them out of your mouth as if they
were already manifested in your life. Quit speaking the negative
circumstances,
COMPLETELY! Keep saying about yourself what the Word says about you. The
Holy
Spirit will manifest those promises in your life."
That's it! Simple! Too simple for most folks to accept! Yet it is the power

of God! It works every time for those that do it! There are no exceptions!
There are no difficulties that are too hard for the Holy Spirit! There are
no
special cases! This always works! Period! Even those that "try it" usually
fail because they become "weary in well doing" and quit before the
manifestation
comes. But it will always come if they do not. It is through faith AND
patience that we possess the promises. Amen?
Example from mine and Sue's own lives: When we were saved and Spirit filled

many years ago I was a virtual egomaniac full of religious doctrines of
men.
Sue was the product of the feminist movement that had vowed she would never

again let any man tell her what to do. Yikes! You talk about opposite ends
of
the spectrum. Me full of "macho" man ego and her full of feminist
rebellion.
Our home life was not a pretty sight, let me tell you.
At first, we both tried to "help" each other by trying to "change" each
other. A complete lesson in futility!!! "Can the blind lead the blind?" Had
we
not learned the secret that I am sharing with you in this teaching, I have
no
doubt that we would have been divorced within three to five years of our
being
saved. We finally learned this lesson: NEITHER OF US ARE THE SAVIOR!
Neither
of us could change "ourselves," much less the "other." We finally realized
that if either (or both) of us were going to change, it would have to be by

the power of God HIMSELF! "How do we tap into the power of God?" was our
question then. He taught us what I am relating to you in this lesson.
God is so good. He not only taught us "what to do", He taught us "how" to
do
it. For example, regarding Sue and I, He showed us from the following
scripture that Sue and I (because we were born again) already had the "love
of God"
within us:
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed
abroad
in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
But then He also taught us that 1 Cor 13:4-8 was the "manifestation" of
God's love and that if we wanted the Holy Spirit to "manifest" that love in
us we
had to do like Abraham and begin calling ourselves "already that way." Let
me show you what I mean. Here are those verses from the Amplified Bible;
1 Cor 13:4-8 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is
envious nor boils over with jealousy; is not boastful or vainglorious, does
not
display itself haughtily. It is not conceited--arrogant and inflated with
pride; it is not rude (unmannerly), and does not act unbecomingly. Love
[God's
love in us] does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not

self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account
of
the evil done to it--pays no attention to a suffered wrong. It does not
rejoice
at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth
prevail.
Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to
believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all
circumstances
and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails--never
fades
out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end.
Sue and I began confessing this passage three times a day for ourselves by
inserting our names everywhere that you find the word "love" or "it." For
example, I would say for Sue,
"Sue endures long and is patient and kind; Sue never is envious nor boils
over with jealousy. Sue is not conceited--arrogant nor inflated with pride;
Sue
is not rude, nor unmannerly, and she does not act unbecomingly. Sue does
not
insist on her own rights or her own way, for she is not self-seeking" .....

etc.
Get the picture? Then, I would confess it again for myself, inserting
myself;
"I endure long and am patient and kind; I never am envious nor do I boil
over with jealousy. I am not conceited--arrogant nor inflated with
pride;"...etc.
Morning, noon, and night ... once for her and once for myself, a total of
six times every day. Sue was doing the same thing. We literally typed these

confessions out so we could carry them with us everywhere we went. WE DID
NOT
CHANGE OVERNIGHT...BUT THE CHANGE DID COME! The Holy Spirit HIMSELF began
"manifesting" this Word within us. He literally "changed" our hearts, our
attitudes, our emotions, and our thinking to where the "love of God"
literally began
to flow out of each of us. THIS WORKS!
It is important that I tell you that it was not necessary for us to
"confess" these within earshot of the other. The reference scripture says
that His
word does not return to HIM void! The only persons that need to hear these
confessions are us and God the Holy Ghost! Why? BECAUSE THE HOLY SPIRIT
MANIFESTS
THE SPOKEN WORD THAT HE HEARS COMING OUT OF OUR MOUTHS! HE IS WAITING TO
HEAR THE SPOKEN WORD! HE WILL NOT ACT TO MANIFEST THE WORD UNTIL HE HEARS
THE
WORD SPOKEN!
That's the secret! SPEAK THE WORD AS IF IT WERE ALREADY, PRESENT TENSE,
TRUTH IN YOUR LIFE! The Holy Spirit is the SPIRIT OF TRUTH! He will
MANIFEST THE
TRUTH in your life if you do! He will not if you don't! Again, too simple
for
most folks. God made it too easy! Most people scoff at its simplicity. Yet
God designed it to be simple ON PURPOSE so that everybody would be able to
do
it.
I have found this principle to be true in every realm of life. When I
finally began putting verses like 2 Cor 8:9, Psalm 34:10, and Philippians
4:19 in
my mouth and began worshipping God for His WORD and began speaking those
verses as if they were already so in my life...sure enough...the Holy Spirit
began
MANIFESTING prosperity in my life!
When I needed healing and I began worshipping God for the truth of His Word

and I began speaking verses like 1 Peter 2:24 and Psalms 103 as if they
were
already so in my life...sure enough...the Holy Spirit began MANIFESTING
health in my life! It applies to EVERYTHING; depression, doubt, fear,
rebellious
children, prosperity, marriage, healing, etc., etc.
2 Pet 1:3-4 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things
that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that
hath
called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great
and
precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
"BY THESE PROMISES" we partake of everything that He has given us
pertaining
unto LIFE AND GODLINESS! Hallelujah! I'm about to have another one of those

running fits. Glory to God! We don't have to obtain things the world's way
which is governed by lust, but we can receive everything directly from our
Father's hand by partaking of THESE EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES!
We are
"in the world" but not "of the world." We have a different SOURCE than the
world has.
Here is another important thing we had to learn concerning the confession
of
God's Word: YOUR CONFESSION BEFORE GOD AND YOUR CONFESSION BEFORE PEOPLE
MUST BE THE SAME! It does absolutely no good to spend time worshipping God
by
confessing His Word over a situation and then continually say exactly the
opposite to your friends. Remember what James said,
James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
You have to once and for all make up your mind. Is God's Word the TRUTH in
your life, or are the present circumstances the truth in your life? Which
is
it? On what are you going to make your stand? Circumstances or God's Word?
Once you choose God's Word then you never let your mouth speak
circumstances
contrary to what God has already said. This is very difficult on the flesh
and,
if you are human like Sue and I, you will sometimes stumble and say the
wrong
things when you set out to do this. Don't be discouraged. Simply repent and

begin speaking again in line with the Word of God. Eventually it will
become
as natural to you as taking a drink of water. You won't even have to
consciously think about it anymore, because you and the Word will have
become "one."
Let me add one other thing. Time spent praying in other tongues helps
shorten the "waiting" time for the manifestations of the promises. There
are many,
many reasons why this is so but for now let me just name one of them, which

is contained in this verse:
Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not

what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Let me put it like this. While we are allowing the Holy Spirit to make
"perfect intercession" for us He "fills in the gaps" where we are ignorant.
For
example, a person who was standing on God's promises for financial
prosperity
might not realize that there is someone he needs to forgive for a past
wrong
that was done to him. He might never, on his own, even think of it. But the

Holy Spirit will know to pray that he needs to forgive. Then the Holy
Spirit
Himself will bring it to the man's mind that he needs to forgive that
person.
Then the man can forgive and that will be one more roadblock gone on his
path
to prosperity. See how that works? The Holy Spirit helps us "fill in the
prayer gaps" because, quite frankly, we don't often know everything that
needs to
be prayed...but He does! Thank God for praying in other tongues!
Here is the Love Section from 1st Corinthians 13 again. Put your own name
and/or the name of your spouse in the blanks. Begin making these
confessions.
His Word will NOT return unto Him void! You are now tapping into the
unlimited
power of Almighty God!

Make Mine an Agape, Please.

We must always strive at keeping our love for God ablaze.   Remember that a lack of love is one of the major indicators of the end-times.  Let's look at Matthew 24:3 -"And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be?  and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world"?

Then He goes through a list of events, calamities, and other indicators that point to the times of the end.  Let's read,"And then shall many be offended and shall betray one another and shall hate one another.  And many false prophets shall rise and deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shallwax cold.  But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved."(Mtt. 24:10-13)

This love that is referred to is the love of God that He has given each and every believer to grow in grace.  It is His love operating in us that will cause us to endure to the end.  But the first One to receive this God-kind of love should be God.  In other words, we have got to renew our love with God.  Wax cold simply means a reduction in temperature by evaporation; to chill; to become hard; marked by lack of warmth, zeal, or  distant from passion or emotion; to become frigid. Ardor is a warmth or heat of emotions and feelings; extreme force or intensity; impassioned eagerness.  We must stir up our flames of love for God. We must  be zealous (active enthusiastic interest mounting to fervor); intense driving or overwhelming emotion displayed with vehement and overmastering emotions. Just from those definitions, we know that we must keep our pursuit white-hot.  We can't let our love grow old or cold.

Remember, it's God's powerful love that we are depending on not our human love.  Human love is inconsistent, undependable, and conditional.  Again,  Romans 5:5 says; "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts  by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us".  Whose love do we have?  God's love, right?  And it isn't a little sprinkle, no, it is  shed abroad (poured forth; a discharge; a spilling out or something that is dispersed in abundance.)   And listen as God describes His love,  The Lord appeared from of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you. (Jeremiah 31:3)

It is an everlasting love, that's what we have had shed abroad in our hearts.   Everlasting is  "time out of mind" eternity, always, continuance; lasting long, perpetual, and without end.So we need to love God without allowing time to be what rules our depth of love.  We can't place God on our time schedule for meeting our needs, and if He doesn't make it on our time, then we love Him less.  In our actions and in our passion, our love begins to grow faint or becomes weak.  How?  Well, for most of us we begin to back slide from our attentiveness, our worship, whether done, 'in assembling ourselves together' (which is going to church) or, in our private prayer times (which of course is our passionate conversation with the Lover of our souls).  It may show up in the 'labor or the work' that we do for His Kingdom, we are not running as hard and fast as we once did, we drag about in our service to Him.

When once you led the procession in the House of God, now you take up the rear. "These things I (earnestly) remember and pour myself out within me: how I went slowly before the throng and led them in procession to the house of God (like a bandmaster before his band, timing the steps to the sound of music and the chant of song), with the voice of shouting and praise, a throng keeping festival." (Psalm 42:4)  We will talk about this next week.  Keeping our love ablaze!

Doors of Impossibilities? Not with God on your side

  *   You will again become over-comers,
  *   you will have success and see MY miracles,
  *   IF you will take Me by My Word.
  *   I will do what I have promised.
  *   I have not changed.
  *   Teach them to use My Word.

Have them trust Me as a child would and to expect My intervention.

Thus says the Lord:

I will not leave anyone who trusts in My Word.

MY Word is your medicine, and in it are the answers for your challenges and with it, you will be shown the doors out of your impossibilities. EVERYTHING you need you will find in MY Word, says the Lord.

Never Be Without Again

In these last days, it is going to be vitally important that you be very selective about where you sow your seed. If you attend a church or receive encouragement from ministries where people are getting born again, life is coming forth, lives are being changed, and people are growing in the Lord and particularly in ministries that teach and believe in faith... then that is good ground. You plant into that kind of ground. It’s a good investment.  The Lord has instructed me to always be careful not to plant seed in ministries that don’t believe in prosperity, healing and the baptism of the Holy Spirit as it says in 3 John, verse two.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Rom 10:16).  If faith for finances is not taught, acted upon and there are testimonies of how God has done financial miracles and is doing them, then I wouldn’t plant a seed there.  The Lord has instructed me in a particular ministry of teaching and releasing financial prosperity.  I am compelled by the Lord to share it with you.  He wants you blessed.  To have faith for prosperity, then you must always wash your mind with those particular scriptures about prosperity.  This will keep your faith up to receive your finances.

Satan is afraid that you are going to believe the whole word and get your miracle prosperity.  He is constantly sending situations to steal your finances and discourage me.  That is because God wants you to be an encourager of financial blessings.

(Pro 4:20)  My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. (Pro 4:21)  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. (Pro 4:22)  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.  (Pro 4:23)  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
If your seed is planted in the right ground, watered, nurtured and protected, then it will produce increase. And now what you have done has taken charge of your own financial future.
The widow woman took care of her financial future when she gave her last meal to the prophet Elijah when God had spoken.  She was blessed throughout the whole famine and was sustained.  God took charge of her financial future when she was obedient to give.
God says in His Word that real sowers will never be without seed. (2 Corinthians 9:10) Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.  He multiplies see which is sown.  Haven’t you heard some people say that if they had a million dollars, I would give unto the Lord.  If you aren’t giving when you only have $100, which should he believe you.  Ten percent is you duty.
This verse was not written to a person that tries, but it is written to the person who does (sows). God needs sowers. Think about a man when he is at his wedding.  The minister asks “Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?”  Do you think if he said “I’ll try” he would be married.  The Lord wants doers of the Word and not hearers only.  He wants you to have a sowing lifestyle so that He can join Himself to you and get involved in your finances, and in your future. He not only ministers seed to sowers, and bread for food, but He multiplies the seed sown. That’s the reason sowers always have seed to sow.  Why do they always have seed? God always multiplies their seed sown.
When I have tithed, all I’ve done is show God that I am a good steward of what already belongs to Him. That 10% is His. It has never been mine. I haven’t done anything yet with mine. It’s when I give offerings out of the 90%, now we are talking about how I receive my part.  All I did with the 10% was show God that He can trust me with His money. The other 90% that is left is my money.  Therefore I give offerings out of what is mine.
What am I doing? I am taking charge of my financial future! You can take charge of your financial future by becoming a sower, not a part time farmer, but a sower. And God promises that sowers will always have seed and their seed will always be multiplied.
I have to obey the Lord in what He is telling me.  He is speaking to ministers, prophets, pastors, teachers and those who have an assignment from the Lord.  He said “When the anointing arrives at that place where I send you, the yoke will instantly be broken from my people.” (Isaiah 10:27)  And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.  You could also say the empowerment of the Holy Spirit breaks the yokes off.  (Act 1:8)  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Prophecies, I hear the Holy Spirit speaking to you today…
·         Some pastors have not allowed the five-fold ministry to function in their churches for many reasons.  God gave Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers for the work of the ministry and for the perfecting of the saints. Some pastors have tried to be all in all to everyone.
·         Pastors do not carry all of the anointing.  The anointing is found in different ministry gifts.  Some Pastors have operated in fear.  They have feared that they will lose members and finances.  It is receiving all that God offers that will bring you into faith to receive your Abrahamic blessings.  You have to give to receive.  Pastors should be teaching their people first to tithe and then to give as God leads to the other five fold ministry gifts.
·         It is right and good that you should from time to time bring in a ministry gift to bless your congregation such as an apostle, a prophet/prophetess or an evangelist.  They should have every expense paid and receive a good offering for their time and effort in your behalf.  No evangelist should have to pay to minister to you.
·         In the Old Testament when someone came to inquire of a prophet, they always brought him a gift. (1Sa 9:7) Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we? (1Sa 9:8)  And the servant answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have here at hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver: thatwill I give to the man of God, to tell us our way. (1Sa 9:9)  (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.) (1Sa 9:10)  Then said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went unto the city where the man of God was.  I believe this was a type and shadow of today’s habit of taking up an offering at each time of ministry.
·         There are many good and obedient pastors, evangelists and prophets who have become weary in well doing because so many people never get passed tithing or even to tithing. (Galatians 6:9)  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
·         The Lord is touching you today.  He is giving you a brand new anointing.  It is the most powerful anointing you have ever known. His anointing is the special empowerment of the Holy Spirit to do the job that you are instructed to do.  I am hearing that song, “Lord, you know I need a brand new touch.”
·         This is His prophetic timing for your breakthrough.  When you arrive at His destination, the yoke will be broken.
·         He has already gone before you.  He is ready to set the captives free.  For some it is literally a physical place while for some it is a spiritual place.
·         Prophets, as some of you travel to specific places that God is leading, the Lord is saying, “When you arrive, my anointing will be there to break the yoke off my children.”  You are bringing it.
·         Prepare the atmosphere for my anointing. When the anointing comes, the yoke will be broken. There will be healing, deliverance, salvation, and more.  It will be a more powerful anointing than you have ever known.  You are my prophet. (1 Corinthians 14:25)  And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
·         Seek God.  He will be letting you know who you are to call and when.  Depend on His ability to get through to you and not your ability to hear from Him.
·         Prophets! You are not there to take from any church, but to add to that church.  Give! Give of that anointing within you.   You cannot out give God.  You are to give of your knowledge and anointing. You are worthy of your hire and it is right to receive an offering.  Some of them need to give to you worse than you need to receive and offering.  Don’t short change them.  Let them bless you.  Their best may not be much, but it is their best and God can work with that.  When He gives back in like kind (His best) things are about to change.
·         Pastors and members, you must prepare for your breakthrough anointing!  The anointing of breakthrough is here!
·         The Lord wants to bless you.  Plant your seed of obedience.  He has something very special planned for you.  You must do you part.  If He has spoken to you about giving a vow, you must be obedient to His Holy Spirit.  He is blessing your obedience.  Don’t miss giving when God says to give.  That is part of activating God to move in your behalf.
·         There are some of you (at least two) to which the Lord has instructed to make and pay a vow to Him.  He is telling you to plant your seed of faith right now.  As you activate your faith by giving, you will find that He already has begun your miracle.
·         There are at some people that both desire to give a much larger seed than they have in their possession today. The Lord is instructing you to use your faith to make a vow of faith and then pay it.  Pay a seed toward that vow.  He is the one who gives you seed to sow and bread to eat.  (Isa 55:10)  For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater. (Isa 55:11)  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
·         We strive to make this ministry a good place in which to plant your seeds.  We strive to abide in Him and Him in us.  However, if you think that this is just a way of raising funds for this ministry we would prefer to give to another ministry which is anointed in faith and gifts and active in serving God, then give your seed to them.  Just don’t fail to give it somewhere.  God will bless your seeds sown.

Be Quick To Listen James 1:19

 Be Quick To Listen

JAMES 1:19 NLT
19 My dear brothers and sisters, be quick to listen, slow to
speak, and slow to get angry.

You learn by listening -- not by talking.

The biggest barrier to learning is thinking you already know a
subject. If you think you already know everything, it is
difficult to learn anything more.

You can learn from every person -- if you will just listen to
what they have to say. Everyone knows something you do not
know.

Pride robs you from learning from others. Pride keeps you
ignorant -- while making you think you are wise.

ROMANS 1:22 NLT
22 Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead.

This is not to say you should accept everything you hear as
truth -- just that you should be humble enough, and respect
people enough, to listen and evaluate what they have to say.

Listen and learn. Talk too much and only embarrass yourself.

PROVERBS 17:27-28 ICB
27 The person who has knowledge says very little. And a person
with understanding stays calm.
28 Even a foolish person seems to be wise if he keeps quiet. He
appears to have understanding if he doesn't speak.

Proud people act as if they have a duty to display their
superior knowledge to all who will listen. They are quick to
speak, because they "know" they are right.

PROVERBS 10:19 ICB
19 If you talk a lot, you are sure to sin. If you are wise, you
will keep quiet.

It is not wrong to talk -- just don't talk too much. And don't
be so anxious to impress people with what you know.

ECCLESIASTES 5:3 NLT
3 Just as being too busy gives you nightmares, being a fool
makes you a blabbermouth.

SAY THIS: I will be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to
become angry.

Life is but a DREAM Joel 2:28

Too many people put their dreams "on hold."
It takes an uncommon amount of guts to put your dreams on the line, to
hold them up and say, "How good or bad am I?"

Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon
all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall
dream dreams your young men shall see visions.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Nothing happens unless first a dream.

Psalm 121:1
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

Hold fast to dreams for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that
cannot fly.

Jeremiah 23:28
The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my
word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff' to the wheat?
saith the Lord.

I have spread my dreams beneath your feet. Tread safety because you tread
on my dreams.
