Breakthroughs & Miracles are on the Way!

Many of my postings go pretty far back. I want to simply let everyone know that many of the requests on here have been met. Not all....I can go back to 2011 where we were asking for a building. We still have that on our list. However I am no longer connected with the other person mentioned. Both of our lives took different twists & turns. I wish her Gods blessings on her & her family! The Vision & Mission of Restoration have not changed. I went back to College and my focus has been on my own family and praying for hundreds of countless Cov. 1st marriages. We all know that the Lord continues to direct our paths. He connects us in mighty ways. I look forward to what the near future has for us. I know He will have all that we need in perfect time & order. Thing is we are one day closer to His return. Please join with me pushing in prayer for all of these husbands & wives to leave the other people that they are currently thinking are "right for them" or so called "God sent". Lord, wake them up to the many lies that they think are truths. May they flee from adultery in this very moment and run from the sin that's trying to entangle them. Anything holding them back may it be quickly broken off in Jesus name! May the needs in our prayer circles be quickly met in Jesus mighty name. Provision for His Vision & God speed everyone!!! God bless you always, In His Service, Sharon Nichols

Broad definition of “Standing for Marriage”.

I must be very honest. I do not like the word “standing in my marriage” or the phrase “I am standing for my marriage.” It is not the word “stand” or “standing” that bothers me, it is the word “stand” combined with the word marriage. The reason that this bothers me is that it is incomplete or unclear. I believe there must be more clarity to the phrase because it can be perceived that ANY marriage is worth standing for. It also makes one believe that we as humans have the power of ourselves to stand in a marriage. There is a broad definition of “standing for marriage”. This can include a healthy marriage where both the husband and wife who “stand” for the definition of marriage as between a man and a woman. Then there is “standing in marriage” for the spouse who is going through a divorce. This spouse is usually the one who “stands” in hope the marriage remains intact. They are most likely the spouse who did not initiate a divorce. Then there is the spouse who “stands” in a marriage even thought the other spouse divorced and remarried someone else. They “stand” on the word of God, which calls all remarriages after divorce, adultery. These are all noble “stands”, but there needs to be a word or two that makes marriage more holy. The words I am referring to are the word “covenant” and “vow.” The words covenant refers to a binding agreement between two parties. The word “vow” is a promise. If we use there words in a way that corresponds to the word of God, a marriage is a one-flesh covenant vow between a man and a woman in the presence of God. If we have these two words added to those who stand in marriage, it would look like this. “I am standing on my covenant marriage vow.” It is a marriage cookie that makes those who read to understand that God ordains the marriage. If we make others clear that we are standing on this marriage cookie, we are saying this: 1. Marriage is God design and therefore we as His creation must abide by this design. 2. It is an individual statement and applies to your part of the vow. It has nothing to do with those who vowed to us, it has everything to do with our vow before God and to our spouse. 3. It tells others that we put our hope, faith, and trust in God to restore the other spouse who vowed to us. We have no power of our own to restore anything. 4. It tells others that our first love is for God, the author of marriage. 5. It tells others that we will not compromise this vow to traditions of men or dark forces of the spiritual realm. 6. It convicts a prodigal spouse in order that they come to repentance. 7. It shows the prodigal spouse that love is not of this world, but of Christ. 8. It shows that when a prodigal repents, there is forgiveness and restoration. 9. It shows the ultimate love for the prodigal because this love points them to what he or she needs most…salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. 10. It shows the world that marriage is a one-flesh covenant no man may break. 11. It convicts those who divorced and remarried because they did not keep their first vow of marriage. 12. It makes no excuse for bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness, and treacherousness which of all are reasons to divorce. 13. Finally yet importantly, it gives God the greater glory because when He restores the prodigal, others will see that He restored you first. The next time you say that you are standing in your marriage, make sure you include the words “covenant” and “vow”, thus giving glory, honor, and praise to the One who created marriage. In Christ’s love, Neil Used with Permission. Thanks and God bless you Neil.

Ezekiel 37

Ezekiel 37 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, (Name) and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, (which was symbolic of the dead marriage of Name & Name). 37:2 And caused me (Name) to pass by them (it) round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. (all seemed hopeless) 37:3 And he said unto me,(Name) Son (daughter) of man, can these bones live?(can this dead marriage of Name & Name live?) 37:19 Say unto them,(the non believers who came against our marriage) Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph,(Name) which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah,(Name) and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.(Name & Name shall again be one flesh and the house of Last Name will be reunited). 37:20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. 37:21 And say unto them, (Name & Name)Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel (Name)from among the heathen, whither they(he) be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them (Name) into their own land:(will bring Name to salvation and home) 37:22 And I will make them (Name & Name)one nation (one flesh)in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they(Name & Name) shall be no more two nations,(two flesh) neither shall they(Name & Name) be divided into two kingdoms(no more shall Name & Name be divided in two houses) any more at all: (Name & Name shall dwell together in one home forever more). 37:23 Neither shall they(Name) defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them (David)out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them:(Name) so shall they(Name) be my people, and I will be their (Name)God.(Name will be saved). 37:24 And David my servant shall be king over them;(Name & Name) and they all (the Last name family)shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.(the Last name's shall be blessed). 37:25 And they (Name & Name )shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they(Name & Name) shall dwell therein, even they,(Name & Name) and their children,(childs name) and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.(Name will never leave home again) 37:26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them;(Name & Name) it shall be an everlasting covenant with them:(Name & Name) and I will place them,(Name & Name) and multiply them,(Name & Name) and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them (Name & Name) for evermore.(Name & Name's will forever be in peace and happiness). 37:27 My tabernacle also shall be with them:(Name & Name) yea, I will be their(Name & Name's)God, and they (Name & Name)shall be my people.(Name & Name shall be good Christians and members of their church) 37:28 And the heathen(the nonbelivers) shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel,(the marriage of Name & Name) when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them (Name & Name)for evermore.(the LORD will forever be in Name & Name's home, marriage and family.)

THE IMPORTANCE OF PERSEVERING

Used with permission Joe Barruso's With the understanding also...Awesome! Many don't seem to understand that this isn't something made up. Its ALL God!! Obey, Repent & Return. Its not about US!! THE IMPORTANCE OF PERSEVERING There is a group of persons out there that refer to them selves as “standers.” They are people standing for their marriages. Their marriage is either in danger of ending or has already ended (according to the laws of man). Despite this reality and despite a world that encourages quick divorces in these situations they choose to persevere in the face of adversity hoping one day to reconcile with their estranged spouses. As a result of hearing their stories and my own personal experience with this I believe whole-heartedly the epidemic of broken marriages is a wake up call from Jesus Christ. He is calling to us to reconsider our priorities making Him, our bridegroom, our FIRST LOVE. Matthew 3:11 – reads this way; “I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. In the world of Bible scholars and theologians there is a lack of a consensus on what John means by “and fire” as a form of baptism. I have an opinion about it. My opinion comes from my experience as I stood for my marriage. I do believe what John is referring to is what the Bible calls tribulations. Simply, “tribulations” are the challenges we face and the pain we endure as a result of something like a broken marriage. ROMANS 5:3-4 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Steel is tempered, made stronger in heat, in fire. I do believe standing for your marriage is a process of baptism by way of trials and challenges and large doses of pain. The amounts of pain is relative to our distance from or failure to rely on Jesus. This process of pain results in what the Bible calls “cleaving to God.” Deuteronomy 10:20 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. This is the importance of perseverance – to grow closer to Jesus as Lord of your life, as your very best friend and lover. When we do this and make Him our FIRST LOVE as our highest priority then, and only then, will everything else in our lives fall into place.
