Woe to the rebellious children , saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit ,that they add sin to sin. Isaiah 30:1
woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord and their works are in dark and they say , Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? Isaiah 29: 15
His victims are crushed ,they collapse ; they fall under his strength. He says to himself ,God has forgotten ,he covers his face and never sees.
Why does the wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself ,He won't call me account? psalms 10:11-13
At that time l will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish those who are complacent, who are like wine left on its dregs, who think , The Lord will do nothing, either good or bad .Zephaniah 1:12
You have wearied the Lord with your words. How have we wearied him? you ask . By saying , All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord and he is pleased them , or Where is the God of justice? Malachi 2:17
Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say , What have we spoken so much against thee? Ye have said it is vain to serve the God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?
