In his bold and confident style, David Hogan shares some of his background as a pastor from Louisiana preaching the Gospel and shares some testimonies of what is taking place in many un-churched, war torn lands. He says that while the circumstances may appear bleak, his peace comes from knowing that God has called him and therefore God will protect him.
We can all work miracles and do the works of Christ because it all comes by the Holy Spirit — there is no demon that hasn't been defeated. His stories of the miraculous done through the hands of courageous new Believers encourage us that anyone can release the power of God if we will simply believe that we are called.
"Confronting the Powers of Darkness"
by David Hogan
David Hogan begins this message by sharing his experience preaching atthe Pentagon. Again, David's manner is humorous and to the point. God desires those who will worship Him and serve Him with their whole heart — the heart that is willing to lay down all for God.
He invites Believers to enter into a life of bold confidence in God because when God calls you, He promises to be with you through every trial. We learn that when God is our Refuge and Strong Tower, the trials and dangers that we face lose their power of intimidation.
After several failed attempts to raise people from the dead, David finds victory and sees God's power demonstrated as his own grandchild is brought back to life. David states, "It's not your losing streak that matters, it's God's winning streak." If you want to see the power of God, you have to step into it in spite of circumstances, trials or past failures.
