Dear Friend,
As I was reading an email from another Mother's story similar to mine and also the week we have had this past week I knew that I was prompted to write this letter to you as quickly as possible today.
We are in the stages of not only a building fund project (building is already ready for purchase with a CASH ONLY sale tag and possession at CLOSE approx. 199K is needed for the building alone).
We need friends and prayer partners like YOU to get us launched and off the ground. In other words your LOVE GIFT will make that difference with your contribution you make right now in THIS HOUR!
We are asking for plantings with no hinderances nor delay BEFORE the cold air snaps harshly here.
There are many Moms with children who we see daily in our pathway that need our help with Shelter from their own personal storm. Their needs are great and some are similar and some are unique. We wish to help encourage them, mentor them and provide a place of shelter as they regain confidence. They are people who have are capable who can accomplish anything with the right mindset, healthy peers, positive encouragement and our God.
Friend and Prayer Partners, will you please help us to reach out to more homeless mothers and children that sometimes includes the elderly widows. We will be able to provide church mentoring personal support and help in attaining financial stability? As we launch this new location this year in 2011- would you greatly consider making a love gift of a gift of ALMS of $35.00 or more (weekly, monthly or one time gifts) ?
When you send a gift before the end of this month of October their Thanksgiving will quickly transform and other peoples lives will instantly change by providing exactly what they need to give them hope for their future as in Jer 29:11. We will also be able to put up a beautiful Tree with little Angels to claim for donations for a little one in our pathway or even the forgotten teen whos cut off age for most help is at a critical age and seems to be forgotten in this day. These needs are not only needed during the holiday season its year round. Your little ACORN will become a MIGHTY OAK for His Glory this Fall season and beyond. With Him ALL things Are possible. MISSION POSSIBLE!
Your gifts whatever you can give will change a life in this season for the better and it will be much appreciated and wisely used. We want to bring as many smiles to faces as possible and bring the warmth of Love through Jesus during these cold months and beyond. You will see some great fruit come from this mission and its all possible if we come together like the body we are called to be as in the book of Acts.
Our working together, we can exemplify Christ's healing love and offer life-changing friendships to more once-homeless single mothers and widows and their children. And yes we also have resources for the men we are helping as well. Their needs are not forgotten.
We are also looking for gently used clothing and household items-home decor (New or lighty used items to set up households). Men, Women and Children's Clothing (in all shapes and sizes), Shoes, Purses and Accessories at this time. You are more than welcome to Ship them to us if you feel lead to do so and any quilts or warm blankets are MUCH needed in this hour. If you need a list of suggestions please let us know. If you'd like to get a list to your GEMS or MOPS groups for a service project that too would be a GREAT blessing to us. Clean out those closets and kitchen nooks...your extra or clutter is someone elses blessings. We are BLESSED to be a BLESSING in this late hour. Don't hold back ANY good thing as it is written. We are also accepting Gift Cards to Meijers, Target, Walmart, Family Fare, or
Green Dot loadable gift cards such as American Express etc... there are even eating locations that would be a great BIG blessing. Home Depot you name it most have cards that can be used in this hour.
Some who have houses NEED repairs and live on fixed incomes and need help to improve their properties so they don't continue to crumble around them. The Building the Ministry is looking to purchase also needs paint and repairs and touches of LOVE. The VISION is already been seen by 3 different Ministries working together as ONE body in motion.
If you do any Swag Bucks and would like to send your cards please know ALL will be used to bring help to the hurting and seemingly hopeless.
